long story short, i’m in need of the perfect name— for myself. my old name brings back unwanted memories and pain, and i’d like to start anew. only problem is, i’m incredibly indecisive when it comes to names and can’t seem to find the one. do you think you could help me?
for reference: i don’t want a name that’s really common? it doesn’t have to be obscure, just unique! so ranking wise i’d say nothing in the top 200 at the highest and nothing that’s just a different spelling of a really popular name.
personality-wise: i smile a lot and try to be as cheery as i can, so my mother insists i pick a name that, “sounds sweet but still bright, with a nice meaning.” she likes brigitte and phillipa, but we can’t use the latter unfortunately.

The first name that came to mind when I read “sweet but still bright, with a nice meaning” was [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]. It literally means happiness and, to me, it is such a wonderful, bright, spunky name but still has some sweetness to it too. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] you find a new name you love!

i’ve added some more names to my OG post, so that way you can get more of an idea about what my style is like hopefully? sorry for not being very specific to begin with!! i’d say my style is a mix of classic and contemporary names. i mostly just like names that have that bright, but sweet, sound to them.
