I’ve come to find that I really like softer-sounding typically male nicknames for girls, for example NN [name_u]Jules[/name_u] for [name_f]Juno[/name_f]/[name_f]Juliet[/name_f], or NN [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] for [name_f]Alina[/name_f]/[name_f]Alice[/name_f]. I also like some of the more inside the box ones, like [name_u]Jo[/name_u] for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]/[name_f]Johanna[/name_f] or [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] for [name_f]Winifred[/name_f].
What do y’all think of this sort of trend? And if you like, what are some other girl names for NN [name_u]Alfie[/name_u]? I really like the nickname but I wouldn’t want to use it on its own and I’m having a harder time finding full first names for it that I like. I don’t mind if it’s a little bit of a stretch.
I do like this trend & I think any “[name_m]Al[/name_m]” name would work for [name_m]Alphie[/name_m]. I love the suggestions for [name_u]Billie[/name_u] & [name_u]Beck[/name_u]!
I’ve always loved the name [name_f]Althea[/name_f]! Unfortunately that’s my teenage [name_m]SIL[/name_m]'s name, and I know honor names are a thing but I don’t think she would care for that right now. It’s a good suggestion though, thanks!
