Sephora?

I like how it means bird in hebrew and it has a pretty and romantic sound to it. But is it usable at all? If so what middle names would you use?

Thanks!

I really like this name! I know it’s a store over here, but it’s still a beautiful sounding name. It’s almost like a cross between [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f], with an exotic flair. It’s a great name tbh.

Middle Names:

[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Wren[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Eileen[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]

I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] this name, [name_f]LOVE[/name_f].
But I think this name is waayyy too attached to the makeup store for comfort. I don’t think it is usable (depending on where you live)

Can’t help but thinking of make-up (but good make-up).

I like [name_f]Sephora[/name_f]. (I’ve also seen it spelt Cephora, which sort of cuts the makeup association but I have no idea how old/legit that spelling is)

I don’t think of it as exactly Hebrew, more a variation, but that’s ok. Tzippora/Tzipporah is probably more awkward to manage in everyday life as a FN. And I don’t like [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] very much without it’s T. [name_m]Just[/name_m] loses something? I don’t know.

I really love the Hebrew feminine name for “dove” - [name_f]Yonina[/name_f], but I’ve never heard it used much.

I think it’s usable… but then I like Estée, too.

[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Wren[/name_f] would be thematic.
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is the sort of 3-1 rhythm I like and a nice “bluebird of happiness” sort of image for me.
[name_f]Sephora[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] - [name_u]Lee[/name_u] is ultra-streamlined and out of favour, I rather like it. I do not like [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] at all.

Yep, makeup is my first and only thought.

I’d prefer [name_f]Sapphira[/name_f]

I never really thought of it as a name. First thing I thought though was makeup. It could be usable if you can get passed the makeup store

I’ve seen Maybelline as a suggestion in the forums, so why isn’t [name_f]Sephora[/name_f] usable?

I think it’s gorgeous and could definitely break free from the single association. I also like [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] as a mn and think [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] would be lovely too.

Thanks ladies! I appreciate the feed back, just wanted to see if it was a better alternative to [name_f]Sapphira[/name_f]/[name_f]Saphira[/name_f]. But I guess this name goes to the makeup store lol
