I’m really starting to love this name after it was suggested as a middle to [name_f]Lilith[/name_f]. I think it would be a brilliant middle name and prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] to [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f].
What are your thoughts and honest opinions on it?
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer it as a middle or first name?
Thoughts on [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]?
I don’t like [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] too much, but it has a nice flow. However, despite the connotations (you are aware of the story behind [name_f]Lillith[/name_f], and its meaning?), I think [name_f]Lillith[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] sounds gorgeous. Beyond the obvious problems with using [name_f]Lillith[/name_f]-sadly, because I think it is a great name- it would be an incredible combo. I would say [name_f]Lillith[/name_f] [name_f]Gloria[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] would be even better.
I probably won’t ever use it, but I still absolutely love it. I like Lilith Gloria Seraphine. Gloria is a name I plan to use to honor my grandmother and I think it works well in that combination.
I think [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] sounds good with both [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilith[/name_f]. [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] is almost ballerina-like, girly and flowery and dainty, floating around cloudlike, not heavy or weighted to the ground at all.
I like [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] more in the first name spot, because [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] [name_f]Lillith[/name_f] sound so damn good (I’m in the same camp as you, love [name_f]Lillith[/name_f] but hate the connotation). I think it’s flowy and beautiful without being too sweet - [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is too sweet to me, but I love the -ine ending.
I think [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] is lovely! I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f], and want to get into [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] (it’s like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] meets [name_f]Edith[/name_f], and I love both of those!), but I just can’t get past the associations. Everything I’ve heard about [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] is just horrid. Otherwise, I’d pick [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] in a heartbeat (I really like the idea of a light, sweet [name_f]Lily[/name_f] name with the unexpected [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]), but I just can’t ever pick [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] if given another option. I would love to meet a little [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]!
I agree about [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]. I know a lot of people would probably pick [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] over [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f], but it just too much for me. It’s kind of funny tha one letter can change the whole name for me.
Oddly enough I don’t like [name_f]Lily[/name_f], but love [name_f]Lilith[/name_f]. I could maybe handle it as a nickname, but couldn’t see myself actually using it as a full name.
