Seren as a middle name?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all!
We’ve very nearly decided on using [name_u]Seren[/name_u] as the middle name, or one of the middle names, for our girls’ name.
[name_u]Seren[/name_u] is my best friend’s name and I have always thought it’s beautiful. It is Welsh for star which I adore and it is still pronouncable outside of [name_m]Wales[/name_m] (seh-ren). Obviously we wouldn’t use it as a first name, but I think it is perfect in the MN spot to honour my best friend. I personally find it elegant, sophisticated and graceful!
So firstly, what do you think of the name [name_u]Seren[/name_u] as a middle name?
Secondly, we have struggled to make some of our favourite girls’ names work with it ([name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] etc) but so far we have three of our best names flowing beautifully:
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_u]Seren[/name_u]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Seren[/name_u]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_u]Seren[/name_u]
What do you think of these combos, and why? Further suggestions that flow with [name_u]Seren[/name_u] and match the style of these three names would be welcome.

I prefer [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Seren[/name_u], as [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] seems to be a less popular name, there are a lot of little Amelies and Adelines where I live. I also love the connection with [name_m]Roald[/name_m] Dahl’s [name_f]Matilda[/name_f].

However, if you are in the UK [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] isn’t very popular at all. It is my daughter’s middle name and everyone always comments on how nice it is x

[name_u]Seren[/name_u] is lovely. I like [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_u]Seren[/name_u] the most, followed by [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_u]Seren[/name_u]. For some reason [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] has never really appealed to me.
