Seren as an honor

I had a 12 week miscarriage back in [name_f]May[/name_f] with a girl I was going to name [name_f]Stella[/name_f]. Im currently 7 weeks pregnant with my hopeful rainbow baby. I want to honor her in some way. Since her name means star, I was thinking of using another name that means star or something similar for a girl.

Well I found [name_u]Seren[/name_u]. It means star in Welsh. WDYT of [name_u]Seren[/name_u]? Would you think its a good honor name?

Some other names I like (that I havent brought up to the BF)
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] (although 2 years ago, he said he liked this one)
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Emily[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Clio[/name_f] ([name_f]Cleo[/name_f])
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]

[name_u]Seren[/name_u] as a MN or FN?

[name_u]Seren[/name_u] is a great name and a nice way to honor your baby. I think it could work as either a first or middle, though a first would be nice because it’s such an intruiging name! It fits well with your other favorites, imo. For example, a sibset of [name_u]Seren[/name_u], [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], and [name_f]Clio[/name_f]/[name_f]Cleo[/name_f] would be very chic!

[name_u]Seren[/name_u] as a name feels like a soft-spoken, artistic little girl with big dreams.

I think [name_f]Star[/name_f] would make a beautiful middle name

I wanna like it, but I also instantly think of a stripper.

I love [name_u]Seren[/name_u]! It’s such a beautiful name! I think it could work as either a middle or a first - [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_u]Seren[/name_u] would be sweet, as would [name_u]Seren[/name_u] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_u]Seren[/name_u] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_u]Seren[/name_u] [name_f]Poppy[/name_f].
Of your other names I really like [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]

Funny we have two separate threads about [name_u]Seren[/name_u]! I love the name, we strongly considered it for baby girl #2 since our first is [name_f]Nova[/name_f]. I think it’s a lovely, sweet, soft name that makes a wonderful honor name. It’s uncommon but not strange, easy to spell and pronounce, and it stands out among the common [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], and other -ie or -a ending names.

Can I ask what you ended up choosing for baby #2? I see you have [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] on your list. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] or [name_f]Clio[/name_f]?

[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_u]Seren[/name_u] or [name_u]Seren[/name_u] [name_f]Clara[/name_f].

[name_u]Seren[/name_u] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] sounds beautiful and makes for a fantastic honour name.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!

What about using [name_f]Iris[/name_f] since this baby is your rainbow baby [name_f]Iris[/name_f] means rainbow and she was also the goddess of rainbows. Maybe something like [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Star[/name_f] or [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]?

All th best
