Serena vs. Audrey

Thought I had settled on Serena for my babygirl due in Feb. but lately I’ve been crushing on Audrey. Like Serena, Audrey has that vintage appeal but is still fresh sounding. Which name do you prefer? And why?

I prefer [name_f]Serena[/name_f]. It reminds of serenity and yet the strength of [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_m]Williams[/name_m]. For me [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] just makes me think of old ladies.

I vote [name_f]Serena[/name_f]! It feels fresher to me than [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] since I know a few little Audreys and no Serenas.

It’s [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] for me

I personally prefer [name_f]Serena[/name_f]. Never been a huge fan of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Serena[/name_f] because it’s fresh on a baby, but [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is so classic and sleek!

I love both, but I vote for Serena. I remember one I knew in high school and inwardly going ga ga over her name because it was so dazzling. When I imagine a Serena, I’m in the middle of a cool nightly wind listening to a mystical woman’s soothing song drift softly across the land :sparkles: Probably because of the “tranquil, serene” meaning. :heartpulse:

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is warm and strong! I like it!!

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]

Audrey! It’s peppy and bright. It sounds fresher and less common and frilly compared to Serena, to me.

I prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], it feels more tailored and elegant to me. [name_f]Serena[/name_f] is nice but not my style.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

I personally prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. It gives me that feminine yet spunky & glamorous vibe. [name_f]Serena[/name_f] isn’t unpleasant at all, but it honestly feels more modern to me. And I prefer older sounding names. I feel like these two names give off really different personality images. Maybe she’ll fit one better than the other when you meet her.

Personally I like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] but love [name_f]Serena[/name_f]. [name_f]Serena[/name_f] feels delicate but strong (probably influenced at least a little by [name_f]Serena[/name_f] Williams) and it has a sort of mystical quality to me. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is lovely as well and does have a stronger vintage vibe if that’s what you’re going for.

The two names don’t share a lot of sounds, though - does one sound better to you with your surname?

I prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]! I think it’s a beautiful name, and it feels like more of a timeless choice to me. Both are great names, though. Wondering if maybe you’d like [name_f]Audrina[/name_f]?

I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]! It has a timeless feel and I have never had a bad association

I do know more Audrey’s than Serena’s though !

I prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]! To me it feels warm and strong and has just the right touch of vintage charm. I’ve never loved [name_f]Serena[/name_f], although I can definitely see the appeal!

[name_f]Serena[/name_f] :sparkling_heart: it’s so elegant and beautiful,!

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]! I’ve liked that name for a long time!

I love [name_f]Serena[/name_f].

I like both but [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] feels more timeless to me.
