I was talking to my husband’s grandparents today and I was saying how this little girl has been very calm and not caused massive problems for me other than making me crave mad things.
And that’s when my grandmother-in-law said that perhaps I should call her [name_f]Serena[/name_f] due to her being serene and calm. And I just really liked the idea and the name and I ran it pass my husband and he seemed to like it too.
What are your general thoughts on it? Her full name would be [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_m]Clarke[/name_m] last name ([name_m]Clarke[/name_m] being the middle name).
I love [name_f]Serena[/name_f] - it’s a soft but strong, feminine but not too frilly. I think it’d be well-known and easy to wear, but still I’ve met very few people named [name_f]Serena[/name_f]. It sounds like it fits well in your situation, but it’s also lively enough that if as she grows up to be really energetic, it would still fit.
It would help to know what the last name is or some things about it (how many syllables, what sounds are prominent, what it starts and ends with), but [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_m]Clarke[/name_m] ______ sounds great to me.
[name_f]Serena[/name_f] is a wonderful name. I’ve only met two Serenas in my life. One is around 30 and the other is 11 years old - intelligent, grounded and quiet but with a lovely singing voice! I’m fond of the name.
[name_f]Serena[/name_f] is lovely, but [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_m]Clarke[/name_m] sounds very Southern. I would either avoid [name_f]Serena[/name_f] or avoid [name_m]Clarke[/name_m]. If you opt to nix [name_f]Serena[/name_f], then nix some other Southern names, they don’t sound great with [name_m]Clarke[/name_m].
[name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_m]Clarke[/name_m] is lovely! I also really like the name [name_f]Serene[/name_f] or [name_u]Seren[/name_u] (though [name_u]Seren[/name_u] has a different meaning, it just gives me similar vibes as [name_f]Serena[/name_f]) but [name_f]Serena[/name_f] is so pretty!
