Series of Unfortunate Events - type story

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! I’m writing a story about a teenage boy and his younger siblings. They have a dark backstory somewhat similar to A Series of Unfortunate Events. It’s written from the point of view of the boy as a series of meticulous journal entries.
Anyways, here are the names.

[name_u]Calder[/name_u] Maicoh Soloviev 17
[name_f]Melanie[/name_f] Soloviev 11
[name_m]Adam[/name_m] Soloviev 11

I’m somewhat stumped for middle names for the twins. Maicoh is Navajo for wolf, and I’m looking for similar names in terms of exoticism. Considerations have included [name_f]Adara[/name_f], [name_f]Kalina[/name_f], [name_u]Taliesin[/name_u], and Sköll.

I’m also looking for a name for a potential love interest. I’m thinking [name_f]Accalia[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Cali[/name_u]), but I’m totally open to suggestions. Ideas for parents’ names and names of other kids would also be great!

I love your names.

I wouldn’t change a thing. The first names are common/“normal” enough for readers to remember and pronounce well. I like your approach of using exotic middle names.

As far as middles, I vote for [name_f]Melanie[/name_f] [name_f]Adara[/name_f] Soloviev, and [name_m]Adam[/name_m] [name_u]Taliesin[/name_u] Soloviev. I think [name_m]Adam[/name_m] Sköll sounds very nice together, but the resulting initials give me great pause.

[name_f]Accalia[/name_f] nn [name_u]Cali[/name_u] is a wonderful name. Again, you’re hitting that sweet spot between a relatable name and an exotic name. I applaud you!

[name_f]Happy[/name_f] writing!
