Seriously considering a baby #4

I’m already contemplating names, and I’m struggling a bit. Some of my favs are in my signature, but I’m welcoming suggestions too. Our children are named [name_m]David[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], and Carrigan [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] nn [name_f]Cara[/name_f]. Carrigan’s name definitely doesn’t tie in with her siblings. I’m hoping to find a name that bridges them all together.

With [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], and Carrigan, I think you need a more surname-y/modern name to round out the set. My picks:

[name_u]Addison[/name_u]
[name_f]Ashlyn[/name_f]
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u]
[name_f]Harlow[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_u]Landry[/name_u]
[name_u]Madison[/name_u]
[name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]
[name_u]Monroe[/name_u]
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_u]Reilly[/name_u]
[name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_u]Sailor[/name_u]
[name_u]Sutton[/name_u]
[name_u]Taylor[/name_u]
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]

[name_u]Abbott[/name_u]
[name_m]Asher[/name_m]
[name_m]Beckett[/name_m]
[name_m]Cooper[/name_m]
[name_u]Easton[/name_u]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m]
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m]
[name_m]Hart[/name_m]
[name_u]Jameson[/name_u]
[name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]
[name_m]Nolan[/name_m]
[name_u]Parker[/name_u]
[name_u]Porter[/name_u]
[name_m]Ryland[/name_m]
[name_m]Weston[/name_m]

I agree that a surname type sound would balance out the set. I think for a boy, though, I would go with one that is mostly used for boys to avoid confusion (e.g. [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] rather than [name_u]Elliott[/name_u].)

Some ideas:
[name_f]Marin[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_u]Delaney[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Aisling[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_u]Darcy[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_u]MacKenzie[/name_u] [name_f]Isla[/name_f]

[name_m]Conor[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]
[name_m]Gavin[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]

Some ideas:

[name_f]Sidonie[/name_f]
[name_f]Jemima[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwenore[/name_f]
[name_f]Tamsin[/name_f]
[name_u]Marley[/name_u]
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f]
[name_u]Darcy[/name_u]
[name_u]Genesis[/name_u]
[name_f]Sheila[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
[name_f]Violetta[/name_f]
[name_u]Rae[/name_u]

[name_u]Alden[/name_u]
[name_m]Linus[/name_m]
[name_u]Kieran[/name_u]
[name_m]Edmond[/name_m]
[name_u]Leland[/name_u]
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]
[name_m]Olivier[/name_m]
[name_m]Ewan[/name_m]
[name_u]Hunter[/name_u]
[name_m]Russell[/name_m]
[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m]

Carrigan [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] stands out to me as more unisex and rugged, as well as having a strong Irish vibe, while [name_m]David[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] are more classic and soft. So to bridge them, I’m looking for either a unisex Irish name that feels classic and soft, or a rugged Irish name that feels more gendered and familiar. A few thoughts:

[name_f]Eileen[/name_f] Devnet
[name_u]Bevin[/name_u] [name_f]Maire[/name_f]
[name_f]Brighid[/name_f] [name_f]Elva[/name_f]
[name_u]Ennis[/name_u] [name_m]Brogan[/name_m]
[name_u]Finley[/name_u] [name_u]Shea[/name_u]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Tierney[/name_u]
[name_m]Aran[/name_m] Bairre
[name_u]Bran[/name_u] [name_m]Daly[/name_m]
[name_m]Martin[/name_m] [name_m]Leary[/name_m]
[name_m]Patrick[/name_m] [name_m]Aran[/name_m]

Names I absolutely love from this list so far…

[name_u]Hunter[/name_u]
[name_m]Russell[/name_m]
[name_m]Shephard[/name_m]

[name_f]Marin[/name_f]
[name_u]Delaney[/name_u]
[name_f]Aisling[/name_f] (this was on our name list before)
[name_f]Ashlyn[/name_f]
[name_u]Landry[/name_u] (I REALLY like)
[name_u]River[/name_u]
Also, I love Genesis and Violetta. Part of our family is Ecuadorian (the other half being Irish) so having a name that works in both English and Spanish is great. Especially Genesis, I love the Spanish pronunciation.

Would [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] go with Carrigan/ [name_f]Cara[/name_f] or is that too close? I like the name a lot.
Another couple I’ve had on my name list but worry are too close are Kensigton ([name_u]Kenzie[/name_u]) being too similar to Carrigan & [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] being too similar to [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]?
