What are your thoughts on [name_u]Seth[/name_u]? I think I like it, familiar but also understated. Thanks!

It feels villain-y to me, but I don’t know why! This isn’t a bad thing (I actually prefer this vibe), but I know some people don’t like that.

Putting that aside, I’m just not a huge fan of how it sounds. But it is, indeed, a familiar but not overused, and solid name.

I agree it’s not overused, solid and strong.

Not a favourite for me though.

I love [name_u]Seth[/name_u]! It’s so gentle and soft and lovely. Didn’t like it for years because I dismissed it as being dated, but for the past year or so have had such an appreciation and adoration for it!

I love [name_u]Seth[/name_u]! It’s strong, classic, Biblical, and not overused. It would be on my list, but my Brother-in-law is named [name_u]Seth[/name_u] :slight_smile:

JK it was Sid. Star Wars Siths then? I’m getting the same vibe.

We have a friend who named their kid [name_u]Seth[/name_u]. Again, we thought it was a very strong name, familiar but underused.

Seth was probably on the rise while the [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] Series was popular, and then it sort of vanished.

I really like [name_u]Seth[/name_u]!

I don’t like it. It feels insubstantial to me. But it is a perfect balance of familiar and unusual.

I think of [name_u]Seth[/name_u] from Twilght and also [name_u]Seth[/name_u] [name_m]Rogan[/name_m] the famous comedian! I love his work! It’s an underrated name I love it!

Maybe it’s because of the Egyptian deity?

I think of him when I hear this name.

This could be it, but I’m really not sure! The Egyptian deity @Johannaa mentioned also makes sense (and is super interesting) but I don’t think I’ve heard of it before!

I like [name_u]Seth[/name_u]. But then I like names with a th/ph sound. I have a [name_m]Ralph[/name_m] and a [name_m]Gareth[/name_m]. I’d have a [name_u]Seth[/name_u]

I think it’s a really sweet and handsome name. I’ve liked it for a while

I went to grade school with a [name_u]Seth[/name_u]. I see it as a pretty chill biblical name that’s not as overused as [name_m]John[/name_m] or anything like that

I like it. Simple, straight fwd. No alternate pronunciations. No bad associations.
A tinge of a 90s vibe, but only a small bit.
