Hello! We have finally picked a boys name that we both would love to use if we have a boy - [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Liam[/name]! Howeve r, now I would love to findagirls name that we love just as much! Here are some on our list-
[name]Cora[/name]
[name]Lexie[/name]
[name]Rainy[/name] (too hippy for my taste I think)
[name]Thalia[/name]
Zavierra
[name]Jasmine[/name]
[name]Juniper[/name] nn [name]Junie[/name]
I only really [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Cora[/name], and think it sounds ok with [name]Merrick[/name], if we had a boy and girl. I would love to find something else similar to our boys name… maybe a first name that is unique, layed back, with a hint of surfer style, and middle that is more established and firm. Not sure if those guidlines are a bit obscure! But hopefully we wil get some good suggestions! Thanks!
Since [name]Merrick[/name] is a Welsh name, I selected a few Welsh names for girls that I thought had the same vibe as [name]Merrick[/name]:
[name]Bethan[/name]
[name]Brynna[/name]
[name]Carys[/name]
[name]Delyth[/name]
[name]Gwen[/name]
[name]Reese[/name]
[name]Seren[/name]
From your list, I’d do [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Cora[/name] with [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Liam[/name]. Cute! I also like [name]Lexie[/name] with [name]Merrick[/name], but [name]Lexie[/name] feels like a nickname to me.
I love [name]Juniper[/name] and [name]Cora[/name]. I also love [name]Corinne[/name] with [name]Cora[/name] as a nn. I feel that [name]Cora[/name] has the potential to become very popular in many places so doing [name]Corinne[/name] would put a more unique spin on it and even give you options for other nn’s. [name]Loraine[/name] with [name]Rainy[/name] as a nn could also work, it seems much less hippie with a more grounded and traditional fn.
[name]Raina[/name] (or there are many spelling options for this, [name]Reina[/name] and [name]Reyna[/name] in particular) nn [name]Rainy[/name] is really pretty. It means queen (and spelled [name]Reyna[/name] is the Spanish word for queen if that’s “too much”). I think [name]Merrick[/name] and [name]Raina[/name] would sound good together. Also adore [name]Cora[/name].
I loooove [name]Laurel[/name] [name]Iris[/name]. Feels slightly old fashioned, outdoorsy, classy but spunky. Dont think my husband will go for it tho Also, [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Cora[/name] is cute but not sure how i feel about [name]Juniper[/name] as a first name still.
[name]How[/name] do you prn. [name]Zelia[/name]? Zehl ee uh? or Zeel-ee-uh? What do you think of [name]Safron[/name]? [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Liam[/name] and [name]Safron[/name] [name]Cora[/name]? Only reason I might not like saffron is because I am not a fan names that arent gender definite.
Not sure of the prn. of the welsh names? little help would be good! But [name]Brynna[/name] is cute will pass these by my husband
[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Thalia[/name]! [name]Love[/name] love love it with [name]Merrick[/name]. My second choice would be [name]Juniper[/name]. [name]Cora[/name] is nice, I think I’d like it more as a nickname for [name]Coraline[/name] or [name]Cordelia[/name].
My husband hated [name]Laurel[/name]… he said it sounds like [name]Laura[/name] and Floral mixed, but be also thought it was a boys name…haha. We both agreed that [name]Iris[/name] would be a great choice for a middle spot though! Maybe [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Liam[/name] and [name]Cora[/name] [name]Iris[/name]? He LOVED that, but I an not quite sold on it yet! Didnt fall in love with it the same way I did with [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Liam[/name].
[name]Glad[/name] he liked [name]Iris[/name]! The flow is a little off on [name]Cora[/name] [name]Iris[/name], but its not terrible and if you both agree on the names then flow is just a bonus
