Shalon?

I’ve posted this before, but I didn’t get any replies.

What do you think of [name_f]Shalon[/name_f]? It’s pronounced Shall-in. I don’t want you to tell me it’s made up or that I need to spell it differently. [name_m]Just[/name_m] please tell if you like it or not + no suggestions. Thank you.

Not. Sorry.

I really dislike it. It sounds like a moosh of the vary dated [name_f]Sharon[/name_f], and the word talon. I don’t like it at all, sorry.

I dislike it.

[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t like it. This was on a phone list yesterday when I was doing confirmation calls and I didn’t know whether to ask for “[name_u]Shay[/name_u]-lon” or “Shall-on”.

I don’t like it because it looks made up. What about [name_u]Fallon[/name_u]?

I prefer [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] or [name_u]Shalom[/name_u].

It’s like [name_u]Shalom[/name_u]+saloon for me. Dislike, sorry.

Personally it is not a name that I would use.

I don’t really like it, especially not for a girl.

At first, I misread it as [name_u]Shalom[/name_u] (Hebrew for peace) which is much better. [name_f]Shalon[/name_f] looks and sounds like a modern invention. Personally, I prefer names with depth and history to back them up.
