I love [name_f]Winifred[/name_f], [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f], and [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]. [name_f]Sabella[/name_f] is also very pretty, I’m less familiar with it but it could grow on me.

I like Wilhelmina - for both Willa and Mina but I would use the Scottish spelling of Willamina unless you’re of German heritage just to save the spelling hassles and why not be closer to the nicknames?!

I think Winifred also gives cool nicknames but it’s just that little bit too vintage/fusty for me - but I get why others love it.

I would spell Elowen with one L - it’s a hip fairy name in my mind, I really like it.

Another spelling suggestion: Sybella instead of Sabella. Unless you want nn Sabby, I think Sybella is a little more refined. I love this name! Super swish!

Dorothy - same as Winifred. Not a fan but I can see why others are.

Louelle - sweet and chic but could be swallowed in my accent so probably wouldn’t pick myself.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] these!

[name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] (nn Mina/Willa) → love this - clunky, cool and literary, slightly gothic but regal too! [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is fresh and bright, [name_u]Mina[/name_u] is gentle and gorgeous!

[name_f]Ellowyn[/name_f] (nn Elle/Winnie) → I prefer [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] significantly, but [name_f]Ellowyn[/name_f] is charming and pretty too with a bit of mystique about it

[name_f]Sabella[/name_f] (nn Belle/Bella) → kind of magical and warm

[name_f]Winifred[/name_f] (nn Winnie/Freddie) → I like the meaning, not a fan of the name

Louelle (nn Lou/Lulu/Elle) → sweet and warm with a hint of wildness about it too

[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] (nn Dot/Dottie) → vintage, cheerful and lovely

[name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] ~ wonderfully gothic and imperious, with adorable, wearable nickname options

[name_f]Ellowyn[/name_f] ~ I’m not a fan of this spelling, it feels like a mashup of [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] and [name_f]Eowyn[/name_f]

[name_f]Sabella[/name_f] ~ I love most [name_f]Bella[/name_f] names! This one is sleek and kind of has a ‘villain in a period drama’ vibe for me, not sure where that comes from. It does feel a little like [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] missing the I.

[name_f]Winifred[/name_f] ~ one of my absolute favourites especially with Freddie!! Honestly, I’d be using it if it weren’t for a close friend already having a [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] ‘Freddie’! Great meaning and heaps of vintagey chic.

[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] ~ again, amazingly vintagey and clunky cool. I love it with [name_f]Winifred[/name_f]! [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] and Dottie!!

Louelle ~ names with lots of Ls just aren’t my vibe
