Shawn Cody

What do you think of the name [name]Shawn[/name] [name]Cody[/name]?

It’s a family name. I’m not sure whether to go with [name]Shawn[/name] spelling of [name]Sean[/name] spelling. [name]Scott[/name] is another possibility. I’d like to stick so something that’s from the British Isles.

Besides [name]Cody[/name], I’m considering [name]Corey[/name] or something with two syllables. I don’t want something that’s not hyper-masculine. I’d also like to pick something where the first and middle name are only three syllables.

Any other first or middle name suggestions or combos (first - British Isles, middle - unisex-like, w/a total of 3 syllables) would be appreciated!

[name]Duncan[/name] and [name]Cormac[/name] are Scottish and Irish, respectively, and two of my absolute faves. [name]Byron[/name] is #1 on my boy list and is English.

I prefer [name]Sean[/name] 1000% to [name]Shawn[/name]. And [name]Cody[/name] is NMSAA.

It’s fine, but I’d definitely spell it [name]Sean[/name]. I love [name]Sean[/name] spelled like that, but I’m not a fan of [name]Shawn[/name] at all.

I have a penchant for names like [name]Shawn[/name]/[name]Sean[/name] from the British Isles as well. Personally I think that [name]Sean[/name] sounds more masculine than [name]Shawn[/name], perhaps because of the famous female gymnast, [name]Shawn[/name] [name]Johnson[/name]. I also prefer [name]Corey[/name], [name]Cian[/name] or Covey over [name]Cody[/name].

I’m not a big fan of either name (sorry) but I do agree with the other posters that [name]Sean[/name] is a more masculine spelling. [name]Sean[/name] [name]Cody[/name] has a Western, cowboy vibe to it! [name]Corey[/name] is associated with singer [name]Corey[/name] [name]Hart[/name] for me so it’s not my cup of tea. Here are some other options to consider with my faves in bold.
[name]Shane[/name] [name]Morgan[/name]
[name]Clive[/name] [name]Mason[/name]
[name]Heath[/name] [name]Sawyer[/name]

[name]Jack[/name] [name]Perry[/name]
[name]Neil[/name] [name]Finley[/name]
[name]Hart[/name] [name]Logan[/name]
[name]Boyd[/name] [name]Kendall[/name]

I think [name]Sean[/name] [name]Corey[/name] sounds awesome! I also prefer [name]Sean[/name] to [name]Shawn[/name]. And for some reason I’m not a fan of [name]Cody[/name] in the middle name spot. [name]Sean[/name] [name]Corey[/name] is my favorite!

I like [name]Sean[/name] [name]Cody[/name] better than [name]Shawn[/name] [name]Cody[/name]. Here are some other suggestions:

[name]Kyle[/name] [name]Patrick[/name]
[name]Jack[/name] [name]Logan[/name]

I definitely prefer [name]Sean[/name] [name]Cody[/name] over [name]Shawn[/name] [name]Cody[/name]…I really like [name]Scott[/name] also. Another name from the British Isles is [name]Kieran[/name] (or the Irish spelling, [name]Ciaran[/name]). It is one of my favorite names. Another suggestion is [name]Patrick[/name].
