I always see people named [name_u]Shea[/name_u] using the nickname [name_u]Shea[/name_u]-[name_u]Bird[/name_u]. Why is that? Is it something that just flowed well and caught on or is there some cultural reference that I’m not aware of?
I’ve heard of shea butter but not shea bird. There is a [name_u]Shay[/name_u]-T [name_u]Bird[/name_u] car (a [name_m]Ford[/name_m] thunderbird) so perhaps that’s where the nn originates. It’s a nice looking vintage vehicle.
Never heard of this but I’m guessing it’s because of jaybird. [name_m]Just[/name_m] as [name_f]Jill[/name_f]/[name_f]Gillian[/name_f] is called [name_f]Jilly[/name_f] [name_m]Bean[/name_m] (jelly bean) and [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is called [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_m]Bear[/name_m] (Care [name_m]Bear[/name_m])
