Our daughter [name_f]Olive[/name_f] was born last night and she fits into her first name perfectly.
But we don’t feel comfortable filling in the papers yet
We initially thought [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]. But when we held her, I was flushed with the feeling that [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] wasn’t right.
I felt [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] would be better for her middle. It’s my [name_f]MIL[/name_f]'s name and my grandma was [name_u]Julie[/name_u].
DH is still clinging to [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and I still think it’s a nice name, but DH loves [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] as well…
We are really having a dilemma!
Maybe we could add [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]?
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] is quite a mouthful, isn’t it?
I just realized this turned out more as a rant than a question, but we would really appreciate any thoughts you guys have on this matter!
I actually really like [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] but if you are worried about it being too much I would go with [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. If you are second guessing [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] now and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] has meaning to you I think you will regret it if you don’t use [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].
Family importance always has lasting meaning. If both of you like [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], go for it. Less chance of regret than [name_f]Penelope[/name_f].
I think you said it yourself; if [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] doesn’t feel right and you both love [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], go with [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is gorgeous, and as previous posters have said, you’re much less likely to regret a family name than one you’re no longer sure about. On the other hand, the most important thing is to make sure that you both entirely love your daughter’s name. If [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is just the easiest option because it honours [name_u]Julie[/name_u], [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is equally lovely.
I actually prefer [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], but if it doesn’t feel right, then that’s a good reason not to choose it. What about [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_u]Jules[/name_u]?
I love [name_f]Olive[/name_f] such a fresh name. I think both middle names work [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is a gorgeous Greek classic and the whole combination feels very story like. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is sophisticated, elegant, and becoming a favourite of mine. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] makes [name_f]Olive[/name_f] feel glamorous. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is great. Also I like that it honours family. If I was you I wouldn’t give up on either [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] but would change up your combination. I think the flow of [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] sounds [name_m]WAY[/name_m] better, so freaking pretty.
Another vote for [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. I like the sound of Penne [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], too. Is Penne usable? Maybe [name_f]Olive[/name_f] Pennay [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_u]Campbell[/name_u].
Honestly, you can’t lose. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is gorgeous. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is gorgeous. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is gorgeous. I think you should either go with [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] because using a family name can make it feel more special or go with [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] because it’s the best of both worlds.
I think [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] works much better with [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is great in itself, but it doesn’t flow as well (to my ears) as [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] does.
It Is great that you are solId on the fIrst name. We don’t use mIddle names much. I thInk you should go wIth [name_f]JulIet[/name_f]. I understand wantIng It to be perfect. Congrats and Good luck!!
