[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is more my style, but [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is beautiful. [name]Just[/name] curious, are you using a nickname for [name]Anneliese[/name] ([name]Anne[/name], [name]Annie[/name], [name]Anna[/name], etc.)? If so, I think I’d go with [name]Emmeline[/name]. That way, you could get a nickname from that; [name]Juliette[/name] just doesn’t get very cute nicknames, in my opinion.

Sometimes we call her [name]Annie[/name], but mostly we call her [name]Annelise[/name]. I am not crazy about calling [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Emma[/name], bc it is so popular, and I know people will do that. And [name]Emmy[/name] is an award. [name]Em[/name] would be ok, I guess.

[name]Hi[/name]! Congratulations on your darling girl!

[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is my favorite, but if you don’t love it, don’t use it. I prefer the [name]Juliet[/name] spelling, and [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is very pretty. You don’t love that either, do you…

I know you might not want more suggestions at this point, but maybe one of these will strike you as befitting of your baby girl now that she is here!

[name]Carolina[/name] [name]Rose[/name] [[name]Cara[/name], [name]Caro[/name], [name]Carrie[/name], [name]Lina[/name]]
[name]Gisela[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [[name]Gigi[/name]]
[name]Isolde[/name] [name]Emmeline[/name] [[name]Issy[/name], [name]Izzy[/name]]
[name]Mathilda[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [[name]Mattie[/name], [name]Tillie[/name]]

Good luck!

[name]Lemon[/name]

Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl!
I voted for [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. I think it is just beautiful but all your options are lovely.
Good luck in deciding!

Thanks. [name]Caroline[/name] was once on my list. I prefer the [name]Juliette[/name] spelling, as it the French spelling. I tend to like classic French names. I do like the name [name]Juliette[/name], but I am not sure how I feel about the nn [name]Julie[/name], as it is a little dated.

What about [name]Jules[/name] or [name]Ettie[/name] (or [name]Etta[/name]) instead of [name]Julie[/name]?

What about [name]Jules[/name] or [name]Ettie[/name] (or [name]Etta[/name]) instead of [name]Julie[/name]?[/quote]

Not a fan of [name]Ettie[/name] or [name]Etta[/name], but [name]Jules[/name], seems like it would be a natural choice. I guess I need more suggestions of names that are like [name]Annelise[/name].

I selected [name]Juliette[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. Very pretty! [name]Julie[/name] is dated, but I just adore that name. It’s time will come again. If I were you, I would call her [name]Juliette[/name] or [name]Jules[/name]. Congratulations on your sweet little daughter!

THank you [name]Susan[/name]. [name]How[/name] does [name]Juliette[/name] sound with [name]Annelise[/name] to you? [name]Annie[/name] and [name]Julie[/name]

Food for thought if you don’t have a love for the ones on your list.

[name]Liesl[/name] [name]Katarina[/name]
[name]Julienne[/name] [name]Blythe[/name]
[name]Karolina[/name] [name]Grace[/name]

Ha! I just had a thought. What about [name]Olympia[/name]? Is that too out there?

Congratulations on your little girl! My vote goes to [name]Juliette[/name] [name]Rose[/name]… not only is it gorgeous on it’s own, I think it sounds best with [name]Annelise[/name].
[name]Emmeline[/name] is great, too, but it seems a bit too matchy with [name]Annelise[/name] to me. Really, it’s just a couple swapped out letters, you know?
You can’t really go wrong, though

THank you [name]Susan[/name]. [name]How[/name] does [name]Juliette[/name] sound with [name]Annelise[/name] to you? [name]Annie[/name] and [name]Julie[/name][/quote]

[name]Juliette[/name] and [name]Annelise[/name] are great together!
[name]Annie[/name] and [name]Julie[/name] are very pretty, but I doubt a girl nowadays would want to be a [name]Julie[/name] for very long. Unless she was an unusual girl who loved very retro names.

Did you ever read this book called “Up a Road Slowly”. There is a wonderful character in it named [name]Julie[/name]. That is why I love the name [name]Julie[/name] so much! My niece is named [name]Julia[/name]. Only my mom ever called her [name]Julie[/name]. My sister called her “[name]Bear[/name]”. Now [name]Sister[/name] calls her [name]Julia[/name]. I call my sister “[name]Sister[/name]”.

I think of [name]Annelise[/name] as an Austrian/[name]German[/name]/French name whereas I feel that [name]Olympia[/name] is definitely a Greek girl’s name, so no it wouldn’t be a match for me.

Congratulations!!! I love both [name]Emmeline[/name] and [name]Juliette[/name] with [name]Annelise[/name], but because you don’t care for [name]Emmeline[/name], I’ll vote for [name]Juliette[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. (I love [name]Juliette[/name] [name]Grace[/name], too, but just like the sound of [name]Juliette[/name] [name]Rose[/name] more…)

I love [name]Annelise[/name] and [name]Juliette[/name] together!

Good luck!

Another vote for [name]Juliette[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. It’s so pretty, one of my favourites, and goes really well with [name]Annelise[/name]. Congratulations too

While I love [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Claire[/name], I can see that you do not. I agree with pp that it might be a little too similar to [name]Annelise[/name] too. With your love of traditional French (maybe a little Germanic) names, how about:
[name]Lorelei[/name] (so pretty!)
[name]Melisse[/name] (this one’s Greek not French, but it does have a French sound)

Good luck and congratulations on the new baby!

Thank you so much for being understanding. I want to like [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Claire[/name], but for some reason it seems like the name I go to when I have given up looking for another.

[name]Lorelei[/name]! I like! [name]Annelise[/name] and [name]Lorelei[/name] sound nice together!
[name]Josephine[/name] too. You are right. I like [name]German[/name]/French sounding names.

I am also liking [name]Juliette[/name] [name]Rose[/name] more today.

Any other suggestions that I can try out?
