I am so excited to announce that [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] [name_u]Skye[/name_u] was born on [name_f]April[/name_f] 1st, 2018. She weighed 6 pounds and 9 ounces, and despite being 3 weeks early, she is healthy and happy.
I chose the name [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] because it has so many nickname options, but it still sounds classy and can be formal. Her middle name is after my best friend [name_u]Skyler[/name_u], who was such a help through this pregnancy. I hope that my daughter grows to be like her.
It’s amazing that on the first try (sharing this name with my fiance) he completely agreed. I was ready to share more names or make a compromise.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped with her name. I know this name was not one of my original favorites, pregnancy brain decided to do it’s own thing.
Overall, [name_u]Jules[/name_u] is settling in nicely (though her brother [name_u]Finley[/name_u] is a bit upset that we didn’t name baby sister “Quesadilla”, as he highly anticipated).
