[name]Just[/name] saw this sibset, pronounced [name]Chanel[/name] and [name]Elise[/name].
Yeah…
[name]Just[/name] saw this sibset, pronounced [name]Chanel[/name] and [name]Elise[/name].
Yeah…
Good God…that is horrible! !!!
What. What is this blasphemy.
Yikes. I saw Shneail in the title and was thinking, “[name]How[/name] on [name]Earth[/name] is that pronounced?” And then I read the post. Sigh.
I’ve never been a fan of the name [name]Chanel[/name] (although I adore the brand) but Shneail? That’s just plain ridiculous.
I love the name [name]Elise[/name] (beautiful and underused) but with that spelling I just think of leases. “A lease.”
That’s just sad. Really sad. I feel bad for those kids.
Shneail looks like snail being said with a funny accent…Awful!
I also wondered how it was pronounced until I entered the thread. I can kinda see how you can get [name]Elise[/name], but [name]Chanel[/name], out of that, is very mind-boggling.
Very disturbing, all I can think of is grease or as a pp stated, “a lease.” If you are going to butcher a name, I would hope it’s somewhat identifiable to it’s original spelling. If she wanted unique, she could have thought about spelling it, [name]Shanell[/name], eww.
Well, each to their own.
Argh. why don’t just use the [name]Chanel[/name] and [name]Elise[/name] spelling?
Wow, those children will go through 18 years of agony. Hopefully they change their names when they can.
And then you see spellings that show truly selfish parents! sigh Those poor kids…
I, like others, couldn’t figure out how to pn the first one. I figured that [name]Elease[/name] was meant to be [name]Elise[/name]. I also know an [name]Aleece[/name]. I much prefer [name]Elise[/name] over the other 2!
Girls names Shneail don’t often grown up to own many things from [name]Chanel[/name].
Simply put: such odd spellings make the parents look illiterate.
[name]Emilia[/name]
xoxox
Shneail and [name]Elease[/name], strange pair of sisters, I do pity them. [name]Elease[/name], at least, isn’t that much difficult to figure out, but Shneail, I did wonder how that was spelled. And I by far prefer sisters [name]Chanel[/name] and [name]Elise[/name] rather than Shneail and [name]Elease[/name]. Where were these girls born, though?
[name]Jamaica[/name] actually. I thought it was in the States.
