[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] are lovely!!

[name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u] or [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Laine[/name_u] would be nice too

So besides being a name nerd, I’m also a word nerd and I voted for [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] because at first I thought it sounded best but I also think it’s cool that both [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] are palindromes (spelled the same forward and backwards). [name_m]Just[/name_m] something to think about but of course as with all patterns if you plan on having more kids you might not want to, or you totally still could and not follow that pattern because not as many people are word nerds like me that would notice that similarity anyway.

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is gorgeous! I also love [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] ([name_f]Amelie[/name_f] is my daughter’s name so I’m biased). [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is also beautiful - [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]/[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]/[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] are lovely, too.

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] are gorgeous, and would work well with [name_f]Anna[/name_f]’s name.

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Eve[/name_f] being palyndromes is really cool, and they share the same classic feel, so that would be my favourite.

Best of luck!

I must admit I really adore [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. I’m a little averse to share initals among sibling so I voted for my close second, [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Maureen[/name_f].

I love [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and think it fits as a sister for [name_f]Anna[/name_f] so beautifully, I’m just not sold on [name_f]Clara[/name_f] as the middle. Had [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Maureen[/name_f] or [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] been an option it would have likely earned my vote.

My mom suggested [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and my dad likes [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Maureen[/name_f]! [name_m]Just[/name_m] makes me like both more.

[name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Maureen[/name_f] feels like the perfect sister name for [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] and is absolutely charming. I prefer the middle [name_f]Maureen[/name_f] to [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] for you. It feels more timeless and matches better with [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f].

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] doesn’t have as great of a flow but I love its spunk.

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], so of your top choices, [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is my favorite. However, of your longer list I actually like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] best with [name_f]Anna[/name_f]!

I voted before I saw big sisters name, with [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] I love [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] as firsts

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there. I also have an [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]! I am pretty sure I commented on one of your previous threads.
We love her name so much. And I am also expecting number 2, though I don’t know the sex yet.

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] is a sweet, pure and classic name, and from your options, I think [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Eve[/name_f] best embody these qualities. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Maureen[/name_f] parallels [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] really nicely. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f]–what a lovely pair!

[name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Maureen[/name_f] is a little rhymey to my ear.

I love [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], especially if this will be a [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] baby.

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Rodgers I find a teensy bit hard to say.

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] Rodgers is very whimsical and memorable, though I have never personally been a fan of [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].

Good luck!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m], yes! I think you commented on loving [name_f]Eve[/name_f] over [name_f]Evette[/name_f], which I briefly considered. At the time I was worried about the bad connotations in the Bible with just [name_f]Eve[/name_f], but as it turns out, I put it out there (subtly) and my dad LOVES it. My mom loves [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and I swear we must be name twins because I have never been a huuuge fan of it. My mom is going through cancer treatment and came up with it. If she comes up with more later that’s fine, but for now, the meaning and excitement she had for it trumps the fact that otherwise I was a bit less in love. With that kind of story as background I could easily love it. I think I will have to see baby to decide between [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] is still in the running because it’s been in my heart for ages. I have been finding the same about [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]- the whole “tiiiiny bit hard to say” thing. I had been considering [name_f]Maureen[/name_f] as a first and found the same issue to be happening.

I also don’t know the sex yet, am due in [name_f]May[/name_f], and I think it’s hilarious that were both pregnant and have our big [name_f]Anna[/name_f]'s. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] you’re having a happy and healthy 9 months!

I am also a word nerd and kind of enjoy [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] for that reason! I dunno if I could keep it up after two but for now it’s kinda fun!

Curious how you pronounce [name_f]Amelie[/name_f]! I’ve see Am-a-lee and [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-meh-lee amongst others.

I have been thinking about flow today and agree I think. [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] Rodgers are all two syllables and it sounds a bit…militant maybe? I don’t dislike it, but if I use [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] it may have to be with another mn. I haven’t thought of anything that I like better yet. Any suggestions for more timeless mn with maybe onnnne more syllable?

We pronounce it am-eh-lee but I’m fully aware that some people pronounce it ah-meh-lee. The former just felt more intuitive to us and, having watched the film again not long before I gave birth, I discovered that the [name_m]French[/name_m] pronounce it similarly to the am-eh-lee pronunciation, despite what most people think. Realistically it’s somewhere in between the two and I find myself sometimes saying it as such. But I’m not too fussed about it and know some people will say ah-meh-lee sometimes. I think it also depends where you’re from; I’m Australian and find most Australians say it as I do.

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is my favourite, and I really like the alliteration between [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and the surname, too. I would also like [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], somewhat belending together your parents’ favourites.

[name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is my favorite name! It is lovely. [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] are also nice. [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] would definitely be my favorite combination. [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Maureen[/name_f] sounds great for [name_f]Anna[/name_f]'s little sister.
