We like short names (4 letters) and our other kids names start with E and I, so it would be fun to find a name starting with A, U or O.
I like names like Alvar, Alvi, Levi, Eeli, Elias and Linus. My husband likes names like Orio and Ares. So, we need to find a name we both love! Thank you for your suggestions!
[name_f]My[/name_f] immediate thought was [name_m]Abel[/name_m]
[name_m]Abel[/name_m] is such a handsome name has the vowel start is short and spunky. He is also biblical like a lot of your contenders but feels similar to [name_u]Ares[/name_u] so a good middle ground for your styles.
These were the first ones that came to mind based on your post. Sorry for any repeats! I feel like some of these, especially [name_m]Ames[/name_m] sort of meshes and your husbands styles!
For A, I like [name_u]Arlo[/name_u], [name_u]Amos[/name_u], [name_u]Ari[/name_u] and [name_m]Aldo[/name_m]. For O, [name_m]Otto[/name_m] or [name_m]Otis[/name_m]. For U, [name_m]Uri[/name_m].
[name_u]Levi[/name_u] was my favorite, but my brother called his son [name_m]Leevi[/name_m], so I can’t use it anymore. And my husband doesn’t seem to like [name_m]Alvar[/name_m] even if it would be nice compromise between the soft letter L and harsher letter R.
Many have proposed name [name_u]Ari[/name_u], but that is my fathers name.
I am a huge [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] girls fan so [name_u]Rory[/name_u] would be lovely even it’s full of Rs.
Good options, have to think about these! [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] could also be a good compromise even if I don’t LOVE it, I like it. And it’s not a common name where we live even if it seems to be very popular in many countries. [name_f]My[/name_f] kids would probably appreciate the dinosaur link.
[name_u]Owen[/name_u] is cute, but very american to my mind… And since we have no connections to the States, maybe it would be weird to use it. [name_u]Alex[/name_u] is too close to my husband’s brothers name.
Some of these aren’t four letters but I’ll suggest them anyway
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u]
[name_u]Monty[/name_u]
[name_u]Rudy[/name_u]
[name_u]Ollie[/name_u]
[name_u]Ari[/name_u]
[name_u]Tate[/name_u]
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u]
[name_u]Luca[/name_u]
I like [name_u]Luca[/name_u] a lot, but it’s very common here in [name_f]Italy[/name_f] and we know we people with that name, so my husband won’t even consider it. [name_u]Ari[/name_u] is my fathers name, so that’s out of the table. [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] is on our list. [name_u]Rudi[/name_u] is my brother’s dogs name. So many cute names are already taken!
