Short list?

What do you guys think of these combos? I like longer, [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] names with cute nns.

[name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] (Vivi)
[name_f]Anabella[/name_f] [name_u]Skye[/name_u] (Anya)
[name_f]Adelina[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] (Addie)
Elinora [name_f]Violet[/name_f] (Nora)

Personally I prefer (and adore/love); [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Anne[/name_f], [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], and [name_f]Nora[/name_f].

[name_f]Viviana[/name_f], [name_f]Anabella[/name_f], [name_f]Adelina[/name_f], and Elinora all seem a bit over the top. For lack of better words. I don’t think “bigger” or “grander” is always better. If that makes sense.

[name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] ([name_f]Vivi[/name_f]) - although it has a romantic mood and a lovely flow, for real-life wearability I prefer [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f].
[name_f]Anabella[/name_f] [name_u]Skye[/name_u] ([name_f]Anya[/name_f]) - you’re shying away from spellings that would make these names more wearable. I prefer [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Annabella[/name_f]. [name_u]Skye[/name_u] is the only unisex name on your list, all the others are feminissima. [name_u]Sky[/name_u] without the ‘e’ is better, looks more like you’re choosing a nature name, then, instead of keeping up with trends. [name_f]Anya[/name_f] is a standalone name.
[name_f]Adelina[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] ([name_f]Addie[/name_f]) - I’m not a fan of any [name_f]Adele[/name_f] name, they seem overly trendy. I dislike the nn [name_f]Addie[/name_f] because there are too many Addies around once you count [name_u]Addison[/name_u]/[name_f]Addisyn[/name_f], [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f].
Elinora [name_f]Violet[/name_f] ([name_f]Nora[/name_f]) - I dislike the flow because it’s lilting like a nursery rhyme. [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is better, but I think this is a really conservative and quiet name. Also, I think if you’re going to use the nickname [name_f]Nora[/name_f] then you should just be using [name_f]Nora[/name_f] or [name_f]Norah[/name_f] which is an established name on its own. The spelling of Elinora looks a little but like you find [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] too complicated.

Suggestions:

[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabella[/name_f] [name_u]Sky[/name_u]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Evelina[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Lilly[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Evelina[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]

Thanks for the imput! Actually, I do have it as [name_u]Sky[/name_u], not [name_u]Skye[/name_u] on my list, like in my signature. I didn’t notice I spelled it the other way. Oops! As for [name_f]Annabella[/name_f], I think you’re right. [name_f]Anabella[/name_f] is a bit off looking. I was worried about the whole [name_f]Addie[/name_f] thing, but I love your suggestion of [name_f]Evelina[/name_f]! Does [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is beautiful.

I really like [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]! I also like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].

I think Elinora [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is beautiful and the “Elinora” spelling is refreshing.

Of your combos i like [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] the most. I’d personally use the nickname [name_f]Ana[/name_f] or [name_f]Vana[/name_f] but [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] is a nice one too.

Least favourite is [name_f]Anabella[/name_f]. I dislike names with [name_f]Bella[/name_f] in them in general and the name is just too smushy/frilly to me. I think [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] are much more classy and gorgeous.

I’m in the minority I suppose, but I don’t think [name_f]Adelina[/name_f] and [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] are over the top at all (although as a [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] who’s known many [name_f]Addie[/name_f]'s and other [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]'s, I’m really not a fan of [name_f]Addie[/name_f], it’s positively everywhere). Vivian and Adeline are overdone; Viviana and Adelina are gorgeous. I agree with the others about [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] rather than [name_f]Anabella[/name_f] being a better spelling. Elinora is alright, but I prefer [name_f]Eliora[/name_f] or [name_f]Leonora[/name_f]. On the other hand, [name_f]Nora[/name_f]'s my favorite of your nicknames…let’s just say I love your style since I’m so all over the place.

Favorite combo: Anabella Sky
Favorite first name: Adelina
Favorite middle: Lucy

I have a [name_f]Viviana[/name_f], it’s quite wearable, I assure you. I have gotten many compliments on the name and people are able to pronounce it easily. I feel like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is very serious and stiff but [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] adds some feminine flair without being as frilly and over the top as a name like [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] per se. Having said that, It needs a more simple, perhaps one syllable middle name [name_f]IMO[/name_f] or it does get a bit long. [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] doesn’t quite flow.

[name_f]Annabella[/name_f] [name_u]Skye[/name_u] is unexpected. I like the classic [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] with the more modern [name_u]Skye[/name_u] and the nickname fits but is also pleasantly unexpected. I like this combo more the more I say it aloud, it flows nicely.

[name_f]Adelina[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] I really want to like, but something in the flow or rhythm is off. Maybe [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] would work better? Or a middle that ends in a consonant like [name_f]Adelina[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Either of those suggestions work beautifully! If you’re worried about “[name_f]Addie[/name_f]” try: [name_f]Delia[/name_f], Dela or [name_f]Lina[/name_f] (pronounced “leena”) instead.

I love the idea of using [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Elinor[/name_f]! But I far prefer the [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] spelling. It’s more traditional but also looks more feminine [name_f]IMO[/name_f].

I hope this helped! Good luck!

I like
[name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] ([name_f]Vivi[/name_f])
[name_f]Anabella[/name_f] [name_u]Skye[/name_u] ([name_f]Anya[/name_f])
the best.

I think if the middles of these to were switched, they would flow better:
[name_f]Adelina[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] ([name_f]Addie[/name_f]) —> [name_f]Adelina[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
Elinora [name_f]Violet[/name_f] ([name_f]Nora[/name_f]) —> Elinora [name_f]Lily[/name_f]

All pretty names!

Can I suggest [name_f]Adelina[/name_f] [name_u]Skye[/name_u]? The L sounds run together in [name_f]Adelina[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f].

I prefer the nn [name_f]Lina[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Addie[/name_f] too.

[name_f]Adelina[/name_f] and [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] are on my list. “Over the top” is actually just from different cultures that people aren’t around much. Everyone on here likes English names that are out of the top 100. I think both of these choices are solid and beautiful!

I had [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_u]Sky[/name_u] on my list for my daughter’s name. I love it! [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] [name_u]Skye[/name_u] works equally well!!
