Have a dd named. El0ise who is recently going by [name_f]Lola[/name_f] and lulu and Elle. sometimes in the house. She is 9 months. I think Lola sounds like a different name though. Spoke to the hubby and we agreed to go with Elle and lulu on occasion. I love it. But do you guys think Ellie would be too hard to avoid? I’ll be nice but strong about it. Haha. Only if SHE likes it later on, then so be it. Still would introduce her and call her by Eloise most of the time. Thanks!!!
[name_m]Just[/name_m] start calling her [name_f]Lola[/name_f] outside your house. Introduce her as [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], but we call her [name_f]Lola[/name_f]. [name_f]Lolo[/name_f] is also super cute!
You’re over complicating the matter. [name_m]Just[/name_m] call her whatever you want, wherever you want. If people want an explanation for the name, just tell them that it’s her nickname and her full name is [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].
If you like the name [name_f]Lola[/name_f], then by all means, go for it. If they ever ask, “What’s [name_f]Lola[/name_f]'s real name” then let them know that it’s [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. It’s really not that much of a stretch.
If you prefer to use a nickname, you should still introduce your baby as [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] I think, that way people know she has a more formal name as well
