Looking for male and female name suggestions for a sibling!
Full name of our firstborn is Aurélia [name_f]Anthea[/name_f] [name_f]Norah[/name_f].
[name_f]Anthea[/name_f] is her grandmother’s name and [name_f]Norah[/name_f] her great great grandmother. Surname begins with an F and is 2 syllables. We are particularly stuck with male names - none seem right! We gravitate towards less common names but those with classical roots. Thanks in advance for any inspiration you may provide!
Is [name_m]Etienne[/name_m] too [name_m]French[/name_m] or theme-y for you?? I think [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] and [name_m]Etienne[/name_m] would make the cutest sibset! I also think [name_m]Pascal[/name_m] would be a great boy’s name for you.
I would recommend using other family names as middle name(s) to make that connection for each child. Are there particular ones you have in mind for each gender? That may help us all come up with better suggestions
Thanks, guys! I love your suggestions and I’m adding them to the list to mull over.
Yes! We plan on using a middle name from each side of the family for future children.
Second names for girls (order can change - I may have to change the order in case she marries a Kilkenny or a [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u])
XXX [name_f]Adriana[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
XXX [name_f]Adriana[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
Second names for boys (order can change):
XXX [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Roderick[/name_m]
XXX Matthys [name_m]Frans[/name_m]
Names on our shortlist for girls are [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_f]Celeste[/name_f].
We don’t really have any names that we absolutely love for boys but I feel like we have less wiggle room with boys - like they have to maintain a gravitus?
If it’s a girl then
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f]
[name_f]Antonella[/name_f]
[name_f]Antoinette[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
Or boy then
[name_m]Anthony[/name_m]
sorry can’t think of any more. If i was you i would pick the name [name_f]Antonia[/name_f],if it’s a girl. [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] is a beautiful name, quite underused. It works perfectly with [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]. [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] sound so good together:smile:
