We are due in 2 weeks & are still debating boys names. My husband has always wanted [name]Grover[/name] ever since he can remember but his mum & other family members have objected profusely. It has grown on me but don’t want any negativity after the birth.
My other favourite of the moment is [name]Otto[/name] although my husband has reservations. Our 21 month old daughter is [name]Autumn[/name] [name]Lily[/name] & her nickname is Autie and he thinks Autie & [name]Otto[/name] too matchie or similar.
Any thoughts? I also like [name]Emmett[/name], [name]Abel[/name], & [name]Miles[/name].
[name]Autumn[/name] and [name]Grover[/name] would make a nice sibset and Im sure the family will warm up to the name once they see thir beautiful grandson/godson/nephews face! I can see that Autie and [name]Otto[/name] are a bit similar and it could get very confusing, haha! So probably best stay away from that, sorry!
I really like [name]Emmett[/name] and [name]Miles[/name] from your other names. [name]Autumn[/name] and [name]Emmett[/name] or [name]Autumn[/name] and [name]Miles[/name] would make a great sibset! By the way, I love the name [name]Autumn[/name] [name]Lily[/name]! I have to little nieces name [name]Autumn[/name] and [name]Lily[/name], haha!
[name]Bree[/name]
At first: I love [name]Autumn[/name] [name]Lily[/name]. It’s a beautiful name.
I’m agree with that: “[name]Autumn[/name] and [name]Grover[/name] would make a nice sibset and Im sure the family will warm up to the name once they see thir beautiful grandson/godson/nephews face!”. It’s your child, your choice
For [name]Otto[/name], I think it’s too much, sorry.
I like [name]Abel[/name] !
I like autumn lily and [name]Emmett[/name] miles
I think if you both love [name]Grover[/name] you should go with. Maybe just don’t announce your final name choice until the baby arrives and once they see the darling, I doubt anyone would say anything negative. But, I do understand your hesitation to use something others may not like. Someone in my family said something negative about our name choice, we told before the baby was born, and it did put a damper on the name for me for a while. I felt bad thinking they would dislike our son’s name. But, I got over it. Good luck!
I love, love, love [name]Grover[/name]. I would use it, if my S.O. would let me. I agree with PP, that once your family sees your little [name]Grover[/name], their reservations will likely melt away.
Thanks for all of your positive feedback. [name]Grover[/name] is still number 1 at this stage
I don’t really have a suggestion as I am looking myself, but I just wanted to say I came so clsoe to naming our first [name]Autumn[/name] [name]Lily[/name]. Great name!
