This is a purely theoretical baby for now, but I like to think about it and plan ahead.
We have an almost 3 y/o named [name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Lily[/name]. She gets called [name]Bee[/name] or [name]Lily[/name] [name]Bee[/name] most of the timeāIām big on nicknames! I tend to like names that are classic or old-fashioned and maybe a bit fusty. Iām thinking it might be cute to do another nature-y middle name, but Iām not attached to the idea.
These are some of my favourite names at the moment, but nothingās really sticking out to me as the āthe oneā like [name]Beatrice[/name]'s name did. Iām also at a loss as to first/middle combinations. Iād love to hear what you Berries come up with!
violetgray - I love [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]! [name]Henrietta[/name] [name]Poppy[/name] caught my eye too, but Iām afraid SO would never agree to [name]Henrietta[/name]ātoo frilly. [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Fern[/name] is gorgeous as well.
I love your suggestions of [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oak[/name], [name]Arthur[/name] [name]Basil[/name], and [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Finch[/name] for boys. [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oak[/name] is just handsome and [name]Arthur[/name] [name]Basil[/name] sounds like a little old man, which I find completely charming and adorable!
lori johnson - āIntellectual powerā is right up my alley, I really like most of those names. Unfortunately we already know several [name]Max[/name]'s and a [name]Louise[/name], but [name]Rupert[/name] is one I might consider.
For boys, I really like [name]Henry[/name], [name]Theodore[/name] and [name]Simon[/name]. I think that they all fit really well with [name]Beatrice[/name]. I think that [name]Henry[/name] [name]Simon[/name] and [name]Simon[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] make really good first/middle combos.
As far as girls go, my favourite name is definitely [name]Georgia[/name]. I think [name]Beatrice[/name] and [name]Georgia[/name] would be a lovely sibset. I like the combos [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Rose[/name], [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], and [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name].
Thanks for the input, erinlw! [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] would be great because it would honour both of the babyās grandmothers. Iām worried the association with the US states is too strong, though. I suppose itās not really that big of a deal, but it does bother me a little.
