My daughter is [name_m]Callaway[/name_m] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] and unless I searched for her name, I never saw it on any list and we continue to get comments on her name all the time. Newly pregnant now I wanted to start thinking of the name perfect fit.
Not sure what to consider for my next one. I’ve kept a running list lately:
Girls:
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u]
Wimberly
[name_u]Raleigh[/name_u]
Middle names (all family names):
[name_f]Gloria[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f]
[name_u]Lynn[/name_u]
I like [name_m]Davis[/name_m], [name_m]Lochlan[/name_m], [name_m]Griffith[/name_m], [name_u]Roan[/name_u] and [name_m]Chadwick[/name_m] from your boys’ names
That’s okay! I really love the quirky surname style of name - [name_m]Calhoun[/name_m] is one of my favourite names but obviously wouldn’t work with [name_m]Callaway[/name_m]! [name_m]Callaway[/name_m] is so lovely - love the fact [name_m]Callaway[/name_m] could be a [name_f]Callie[/name_f] if she wanted to.
I love the name [name_m]Callaway[/name_m] for a little girl and paired with [name_f]Marie[/name_f] is great! The names that jumped out to me were [name_f]Waverley[/name_f] [name_f]Gloria[/name_f] and Kipling ([name_f]Divine[/name_f]!) [name_m]Griffith[/name_m]. Please keep me informed as you have a great naming style!X
I love the name [name_m]Callaway[/name_m].
[name_u]Raleigh[/name_u] is my first favorite out of your girls list. Second fave is [name_u]Waverly[/name_u], third [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. Wimberly does not sound right, no offense. Could be me being ultra picky.
[name_u]Raleigh[/name_u], [name_u]Waverly[/name_u]-both go well with [name_m]Callaway[/name_m] [name_f]Marie[/name_f].
I would go with an unusual surname-ish choice for the first name, as you’ve done with the first daughter. That was obviously something that worked well.
With the middles you picked, I’d pair them as follows based on how the combo sounds:
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
Everything else seems like there are too many L’s and it is hard to say…Suggestions:
Emberley(I think someone else posted this and I agree it could work well with [name_m]Callaway[/name_m])
Emberley [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
Parklin [name_f]Gloria[/name_f] or Parklynn Glauria (combines all family names)
[name_f]Bradleigh[/name_f] or [name_u]Bradley[/name_u] [name_f]Emmalynn[/name_f]
[name_u]Laurence[/name_u] (wren for a nn and this incorporates [name_f]Laura[/name_f]) -Maybe [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] [name_f]Coralynn[/name_f] or [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
Middle name ideas:
Glaurie, (glory)
Glorian
[name_m]Quinlan[/name_m] or [name_m]Quinlyn[/name_m] Glauria
Glaurie-lynn
[name_f]Kimberley[/name_f] or Kimberlynn
[name_f]Quynn[/name_f] (the ynn of lynn smooshed in) pronounced [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_f]Evelynn[/name_f]
[name_f]Coralynn[/name_f]
Cauralynn
Glauralyn
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f]
Laurelynn
First name Ideas:
[name_u]Quincy[/name_u]
[name_f]Brighton[/name_f]
[name_m]Quinlan[/name_m]
[name_u]Carden[/name_u] (garden connection and my aunts last name that I’ve always loved)
Ashland
Now that I answered the girls section I can move onto the boys:
I like [name_m]Davis[/name_m], followed by [name_m]Lochlan[/name_m], and then Kipling.
Ideas:
Kipling [name_m]Davis[/name_m]
Kipling [name_m]Grayson[/name_m]
[name_m]Davis[/name_m] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]
[name_m]Davis[/name_m] [name_m]Whittaker[/name_m]
[name_m]Davidson[/name_m] (davis for a nn) Kipling
[name_m]Davis[/name_m] McKennitt
[name_m]Davidson[/name_m] [name_u]West[/name_u]
[name_m]Lochlan[/name_m] Westford
I love your name choices and styles. It really gets me thinking about names I almost never hear.
I love [name_m]Callaway[/name_m]. It’s a family surname for me, and I’m incredibly fond of it as a middle name. I like [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] from your girls’ list along with [name_m]Davis[/name_m] and [name_m]Griffith[/name_m] from your boys’ list. @norameredith gave you some great suggestions. I especially like [name_u]Sheridan[/name_u], [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u], [name_u]Ellery[/name_u], [name_u]Willoughby[/name_u], [name_m]Donahue[/name_m], [name_m]Henderson[/name_m], and [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] for you.
My picks from your current girls list are [name_u]Raleigh[/name_u] or Wimberly - [name_m]CallaWAY[/name_m] and [name_u]WAverly[/name_u] are a little too “twinsy.” ([name_f]Juliette[/name_f] is certainly a whole different feeling - but it is beautiful.) Wimberly [name_f]Laura[/name_f] or Wimberly [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], nn “[name_f]Immy[/name_f]” or “[name_m]Wim[/name_m].”
[name_m]Favorite[/name_m] from your boys list is Kipling [name_m]Wesley[/name_m]! It’s distinguished & evocative, with adorable nn “[name_m]Kip[/name_m].” It matches the unusual-ness (?!) of [name_m]Callaway[/name_m]. Also like [name_m]Griffith[/name_m] [name_u]Ray[/name_u] or [name_u]Roan[/name_u] [name_m]Wesley[/name_m].
I can not thank you all enough for the amazing names!!
I shared them all with the husband. Right now I can’t seem to win him over with [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] or a few others but he and I can agree on [name_f]Whitley[/name_f].
We shall see. THANK YOU AGAIN! So super sweet of you all.
I prefer [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] with [name_m]Callaway[/name_m] as sisters. [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Laura[/name_f] is super pretty. and for boys, [name_m]Griffith[/name_m] [name_m]Aiken[/name_m].
What about
