Sibling for Elise

We are just barely pregnant with our second child and I am already worrying about a sibling name for our daughter [name]Elise[/name] [name]Lorraine[/name]. Her name suits her perfectly but is a little more common than I would have liked (I was always one of 3 or 4 in school and wanted less common names for our children). Our last name begins with P, so unfortunately all P names are out :frowning:

For a girl, some family names I have been considering are: [name]Adelia[/name], [name]Marie[/name], [name]Audrey[/name] (which I love but think it might be getting too popular), [name]Claire[/name] (as a mn only).

For a boy, my husband likes [name]Henry[/name] which I also think is way too popular although I have been considering [name]Henry[/name] [name]Alan[/name] and nn him [name]Hal[/name] ([name]Alan[/name] is also a family name). Other family names are [name]Frederick[/name], [name]Harlan[/name], [name]West[/name].

I want to have some meaning in the name as [name]Elise[/name]'s mn is after her grandmother (which is why I am including family names) and I am hoping for some new inspiration from all you name aficionados as my husband and I don’t really see eye to eye on names (one example is [name]Adelia[/name] which I would totally use and he hates… he picked [name]Elise[/name] when I had [name]Annelise[/name] on my list)! Thank you all for your help!!!

[name]Elise[/name] and [name]Nora[/name] sound beautiful [name]IMO[/name], I also love [name]Adelia[/name].
I do love [name]Henry[/name], it isn’t as popular Australia though!
You might also like:
[name]Dahlia[/name]
[name]Leona[/name]
[name]Katia[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] (although popular, I love it)
[name]Louisa[/name]
[name]Mara[/name]
[name]Audrina[/name]

[name]How[/name] about [name]Adele[/name], [name]Audra[/name] or [name]Adeline[/name]? And I love [name]Henry[/name] [name]Alan[/name].

Thank you both so much - I have some new ideas for my list and love the suggestions!!! I do like [name]Audrina[/name] or [name]Audra[/name] as a tribute to my grandmother and am still holding out hopes to convinve my husband that [name]Adelia[/name] is a great name if it is a girl! Appreciate the help!

[name]Adelaide[/name] is one of my faves along those lines, plus the nns are nearly endless: [name]Adele[/name], Lady, [name]Addy[/name], [name]Ada[/name]… [name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is lovely.
What about [name]Weston[/name] to honour the family name [name]West[/name]? I do love the classicness of [name]Henry[/name] that never goes out of style.

[name]Henry[/name] [name]Weston[/name] and [name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Claire[/name]

[name]Esme[/name] is a pretty name but is probably too close to [name]Elsie[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name] is really cute and could be shortened to Bixie. I love the name [name]Adelia[/name] as i havent heard of it before and it is really pretty
