It’s been so long since I’ve been on here. My daughters name was posted when she was born. After two more miscarriages, I’m finally pregnant and I think baby is sticking! I’m not sure if its a boy or a girl, a boy name is already decided but a girl middle name is not. My oldest is G@lilee, and I do have a few names in mind but struggling to find a middle name. The name will most likely be BeLlum and the nickname will be BeLle. Obviously with name meaning war, I am needing to have the middle name have a good meaning to off set the meaning. We are religious so names with nice middle meanings are welcome.
Maybe light, fire, bright related?
Thanks in advance!
Congrats!!

Where Your first daughters name is a biblical place name Inthink an interesting middle for your second daughter might also be a biblical place name:
Shiloh- Tranquil
Eden- place of pleasure; delight
Jordan- flowing down
Moriah- The Lord is my teacher
Some other thoughts:

Naomi- Pleasantness
Hannah/ Anna - Grace
Thirza- delightful
Dove
Joy
Grace
ETA: I did a very very quick scroll through your previous post history since you mentioned having posted previously. I saw at one point a desire for a “fire element” to compliment the water element of Galilee. So for that:
Esther- Star
Eliora- The Lord is my Light
Lucia- light

I actually was considering LUx as a middle because of this! What are your thoughts?
You’re welcome! I think it is just so stunning. And a beautiful way to get to BElle, which I feel is so under used. I do love [name_f]Luciana[/name_f], I actually considered LUx and LEnore but wasn’t quite sure. I do love [name_u]Noor[/name_u], my best friend doesn’t. :\ LEonie was also on my list but I am going to be adding a second middle name that has something to do with a wolf, as my husband is a [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], which is the tribe of the wolf in the Bible, and they are all three syllables! ACcalia, ASena, and OTsanda, LArentia are all options for the second middle. BEllum LUx ACcalia? I don’t know! I’m so particular about all of this! I feel like if you’re going to overthink something perhaps your children’s names isn’t a bad thing to overthink. We do have a dramatic last name that is two part french name, think De [name_u]Winter[/name_u].
I actually considered [name_f]Eve[/name_f] but was worried because, [name_f]Eve[/name_f] I also have seen the meaning as breath and war breath i’m like uhhh…

I think where you are also trying to incorporate something wolf related I think Bellum Lux comes off harsh sounding.
Now in Scripture Benjamin is referred to as a ravenous wolf (I’ve honestly never heard it referred to as the tribe of the wolf- that was something new to me). Going off of the idea of Ravenous Wolf…. Raven would be my suggestion for a softer “Wolf” idea next to the War- themed Bellum. So if you like Lux. Then Bellum Raven Lux or Bellum Lux Raven.
I do second the idea of Luciana more then Lux tho as Luciana adds a feminine vibe that softens up Bellum but also helps it to compliment Galilee.
If you do like Lux I’d also avoid Eve as it makes the three names seem to blend together regardless of order. Although again because of how it softens up Bellum I do prefer it to Lux.
Here was something I found for Eve in regards to the name meaning.
Eve /iːv/ is an English given name for a female, derived from the Latin name Eva, in turn originating with the Hebrew חַוָּה (Chavah/Havah – chavah , to breathe , and chayah , to live , or to give life ). The traditional meaning of Eve is life or “living”. It can also mean full of life and mother of life .
ETA: was just thinking of how you said the nn would be Belle. If you pair Eve next to it you have Belle Eve - “Believe”; that sounds like an interesting way to put a upbeat meaning to Bellum.
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] means life actually

Thank you! I guess my husband is wanting a harder letter for a better break from the -m ending. Any ideas with like a T, C, hard c, and P letters? I don’t love a lot of those so it’s a chore haha. Maybe having something do with wind, air, aether, sky etc? I thought it would be cool to have a water, earth, air, and fire element to my kids names but I’m putting more and more constraints on myself and may not get my way. Haha The element thing wasn’t planned when I named my daughter first but kind of fell into it. I definitely have a boy name planned, that’s earth related, if it’s a boy and if it is, praise [name_m]Jesus[/name_m] cause that definitely makes it easier. I found [name_u]Coro[/name_u], and [name_f]Tuuli[/name_f] but wasn’t loving them.
I appreciate the input, Thank you! I guess my husband is wanting a harder letter for a better break from the -m ending. It is hard to have it sound like separate names.
