I am pregnant with #3 and currently have 2 daughters; [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Geneva[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Austin[/name].
We do not know if this baby will be a boy or girl, though I have a strong feeling it will be a boy.
We had orginally thought of [name]Bernadette[/name] [name]London[/name] for a girl or [name]Walter[/name] [name]London[/name] for a boy, but have fallen in love with [name]Florence[/name] for a girl, as well as [name]Bernadette[/name] and fallen a little more out of love with [name]Walter[/name]. We really like [name]Theodore[/name], but worry it might be too popular.
I’m not a fan of [name]Bernadette[/name] at all; both when written and spoken, the name just feels “prickly” to me. However, I love [name]Florence[/name], which has the exact opposite vibe in my mind. Whereas [name]Bernadette[/name] is all harsh sounds, [name]Florence[/name] is elegantly smooth.
While I really do [name]Theodore[/name] a lot, too, I’d go for [name]Walter[/name] if I were you. I think [name]Theodore[/name] is really taking off right now and [name]Walter[/name] will look like the far more unique choice a couple of years down the road. I’m also a huge fan of the [name]Walt[/name] nn, which tips the scales in that direction for me, too.
[name]Matilda[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], and [name]Florence[/name] for sure. [name]Florence[/name] is just a softer, prettier name as pp said.
[name]Matilda[/name], [name]Eloise[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name] in my opinion. [name]Theodore[/name] is such a handsome name with the adorable nn options of [name]Theo[/name] and [name]Teddy[/name], and [name]Walter[/name] just isn’t attractive although it is old-man cool I suppose. I don’t think [name]Theodore[/name]'s popular irl, only with nb good luck
I love [name]Matilda[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name]. I think the sibling sets below would be wonderful! What about [name]Florence[/name] [name]Bernadette[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Walter[/name] as combos? Good luck!
[name]Matilda[/name], [name]Eloise[/name] & [name]Florence[/name]
[name]Matilda[/name], [name]Eloise[/name] & [name]Theodore[/name]
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Bernadette[/name], esp with the nn [name]Bernie[/name], and I think it fits super well with your sibset & is endlessly adorable on a little girl! You could just as easily call her [name]Betty[/name] I like [name]Florence[/name], too. Would you call her [name]Florence[/name] all the time? Or would you use a nn? I suggest [name]Flo[/name], [name]Lori[/name], [name]Flora[/name], [name]Ren[/name], or [name]Loren[/name]. [name]Theodore[/name] is adorable but I’d worry about popularity (it was in the Top 300 in 2009). The many nicknames wouldn’t limit him though. I like [name]Walter[/name] with the nn [name]Wally[/name] better. I think it is the more unique choice of the two. Congrats and Good [name]Luck[/name]!
[name]Matilda[/name] & [name]Eloise[/name] are gorgeous!
I do not like [name]Bernadette[/name] at all. To me it feels harsh and dated, especially next to the gorgeous and timeless [name]Florence[/name]. Also, unlike [name]Bernadette[/name], [name]Florence[/name] would compliment [name]Matilda[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name] beautifully!
I prefer [name]Theodore[/name] over [name]Walter[/name] and feel that it again would go better with your girls’ names (To me, [name]Theodore[/name] is definitely not too popular: I consider [name]Matilda[/name] & [name]Eloise[/name] as far more popular, at least in my part of the world). Having said that, [name]Walter[/name] is handsome too, and would not be completely out of place with [name]Matilda[/name] & [name]Eloise[/name].
We don’t use nicknames (well we let my hubbys grandma call the girls anything she wants) so all the names would be just as they are.
[name]Matilda[/name] likes [name]Bernadette[/name] though she pronounces it more like Bedette and [name]Theodore[/name] which she calls Feedore. As for [name]Eloise[/name], I dont think she cares.
Literally the first names that jumped to mind for a sibling to [name]Matilda[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name] was [name]Florence[/name]!
Seriously, what a perfect match.
[name]Bernadette[/name] to me sounds gristly and slightly witchy (sorry) but [name]Florence[/name] to me sounds vintage but fresh and flowery. It reminds me of bluebell fields in fact!
[name]Love[/name] both your daughters’ names, and for a son I think [name]Theodore[/name] is perfect.
This may just be me but I think W and M names have a slightly tongue twisting feel together. [name]Matilda[/name] and [name]Walter[/name]. [name]Matilda[/name] and [name]Walter[/name]. No?
[name]Theodore[/name] sounds strong but cuddly, which in my book is perfect!
