Our son’s name is [name_m]Nash[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]. We need both boy and girl name suggestions (with middle names) for his sibling due in [name_u]July[/name_u]. We are having a tough time naming our second! Our last name starts with R. We don’t want the initials to spell any words (ie we love [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] but then initials spell E.A.R). We tend to like names that can also have great nicknames.
I tried to throw out some similar styles to [name_m]Nash[/name_m]/[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] as well as [name_f]Evie[/name_f]/[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]/[name_u]Francis[/name_u]. I think you and I have similar naming styles in terms of liking some cool/modern vibe names with a classic twist. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps!
As for girls, [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] (nn Sephie, [name_f]Posey[/name_f], Phina) and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] - prefer this spelling for a girl unless for religious reasons that want [name_u]Francis[/name_u] - are two of my fave names - my daughter’s middle is [name_f]Frances[/name_f]. But I am out of love for [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. It’s super common and cutesy to me. I would choose [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and have nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is pure, timeless, swoony and elegant!
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] sounds great but [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] isn’t as strong because it’s a V to F.
I love [name_m]Nash[/name_m]'s name! At this time, I would suggest focusing only on choosing a first name you love and that sounds nice with your last name, and as it is the most important, then add the middle so the initials don’t spell a word. [name_m]Nash[/name_m] and…
