Oh dear. Here we are 7 years later TTC starting next month. My first pregnancy was hell (I had hyperemesis gravidarum) and if I am able to conceive again it will likely be similar. Contemplating names and picking one early on really helped me get through it last time so I could think of the baby as a future person and not just a parasite making me miserable lol.
I have a few names on my list but I want to start fresh with sibling options, so give me your best ideas! I love names from nature and mythology (baby #1’s MN is Orion) but I’d be open to anything.

@mea.ola Thank you! 6.5 years in and I can’t imagine him being named anything else. Also he is definitely living up to it, he’s in the 90th percentile for both height and weight lol. Tall, solidly built kid. We recently went down to Northern [name_u]California[/name_u] and it was so amazing for him to have that namesake connection with the redwoods there.
@katinka upon further consideration I think [name_u]Caldera[/name_u] is really growing on me perhaps as a middle name. We have some excellent ones here in the [name_m]Pacific[/name_m] NW.
Incidentally [name_u]Caldera[/name_u] is also the name of a character I really like in the [name_u]Alex[/name_u] Verus series by [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] Jacka
Great! I think it’s really cool. It feels outdoorsy but also a little bit arty to me because of the association with the sculptor [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_u]Calder[/name_u].
I so adore your son’s name (I’ve quite possibly said that before). I would be thrilled if I have a similarly incredibly named child in the not too distant future! In the meantime I’ll keep on influencing my SO and living vicariously though people like you.
