Hi, everyone! [name_m]Long[/name_m] time lurker but first time poster here I’m expecting baby number 4 this year and having a hard time finding a name that fits well.
My kiddos are [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f], [name_m]Odin[/name_m] and [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u]. All 3 have family names in the middle spot. We have a single syllable surname starting with “K” which has nixed a lot of one syllable names we liked.
I enjoy nature and word names. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband is drawn to mythology based names. [name_m]Don[/name_m]’t know what we’re having yet, but we like [name_u]Winter[/name_u] or [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] for a girl. [name_u]Sage[/name_u] or [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] for a boy. (I noticed [name_u]Winter[/name_u] has become widely used in the US lately so I’m starting to shy away from it…)
What do you all think? I’d love to hear any suggestions.
Cosmo would fit beautifully with your children’s names (which are so cool)! [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] would also be lovely; it’s unique yet familiar, which matches [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f]’s name. Both are so beautiful!
My first thought for a boy was [name_u]Jupiter[/name_u] - word name for you, mythology name for your husband, and then [name_f]Venus[/name_f] for a girl. Other ideas…
Sage for a boy, how cute! You never hear it on a boy and really not for a girl either, so I definitely support that option. I do agree [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is getting a little more used and would stick out with older siblings as their names are less common. [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] seems to work well though.
I had that same thought about [name_u]Winter[/name_u], pretty as it is. [name_m]Soren[/name_m] and [name_f]Sonnet[/name_f] sound really nice, too. Thanks
Thank you! That is a great list to go through. [name_u]Onyx[/name_u] and [name_u]Salem[/name_u] really stand out to me. But I agree that [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] just sounds right with the sibling names.
