Ok, so I was just thinking. The name [name]Fisher[/name] is kind of cool. (My grandfather fished… not because he was a fisherman he fished for leisure).
[name]Fisher[/name] obviously means Fisherman and the name that just dawned on me that I think goes well with it. Tell me if I am crazy but [name]Nerissa[/name] which means From the sea.
LOL I don’t know I think they have a nice flow not hard to say together. What do you think? [name]Fisher[/name] and [name]Nerissa[/name]?
[name]Fisher[/name] and [name]Nerissa[/name]… hmm… I think that they are a bit mismatched, considering that [name]Fisher[/name] is a bit more modern sounding, though I love how they have indirect family significance… Also, both [name]Fisher[/name] and [name]Nerissa[/name] contain ER, so they’re a bit too similar… You may also like [name]Cordelia[/name], which means “daughter of the sea”…
With [name]Fisher[/name], a surname, I think the style of [name]Nerissa[/name] is off, myself. I wouldn’t think to pair them together. Here are some I might suggest, though:
[name]Dylan[/name] - “son of the sea” (slightly dated…)
[name]Murray[/name] - “from the land by the sea” (love this pairing!)
[name]Ronan[/name] - “little seal” (meaning stretch?)
[name]Skip[/name] - “captain” (meaning stretch? hilariously cute!)
[name]Marin[/name] - “of the sea” (styles are still a bit of a stretch…)
