Sibling Name for Henry - too close?

The only name my husband and I both seem to like is [name]Howard[/name]. [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Howard[/name] too close? In the future if we have any girls I’d like their name(s) to be [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Lola[/name].

If I can get him interested, I also like [name]William[/name] and [name]Oliver[/name] for boy’s names. [name]TIA[/name]!

I personally would say yes, [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Howard[/name] are too similar. But I also know lots of people wouldn’t have a problem with it, so it’s really just personal preference.
I think [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Oliver[/name] sounds great!

I think [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Howard[/name] are really close especially if you think you’re going to have three kids since [name]Henry[/name], [name]Howard[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name] feels like [name]Eleanor[/name] sticks out.

I think [name]William[/name] and [name]Henry[/name] are just marvelous together–but so did [name]Princess[/name] [name]Diana[/name]–so [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Henry[/name]. [name]Eleanor[/name] would be a beautiful addition to those two boys. Congrats!

I don’t think [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Howard[/name] are any closer than any other 2 names that start with the same letter. If it was, say, [name]Harold[/name] and [name]Howard[/name], I think you’d have a problem, but [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Howard[/name] feel very different to me. If you’re going to call [name]Howard[/name] Howey, that might be a bit too matchy, though.

[name]How[/name] are [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Howard[/name] too close? They start with the same letter and have the same number of syllables. By that logic [name]Adelaide[/name] and [name]Aurora[/name] would be too close, or [name]Lawrence[/name] and [name]Leonard[/name], or a million other examples…

I don’t think they’re too close, but reading your other name choices made me think of the name [name]Walter[/name]. I adore [name]Walter[/name] and think it’d be so sweet with [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name] or [name]Lola[/name].

[name]Henry[/name] and [name]Howard[/name] sound fine together.

I think that if you used [name]Howard[/name], you would have to use other H names for any other future siblings.
