I am so stuck with a girl’s name that matches well with my daughter’s!
Her full name is [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Honey[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] - the first two names we just loved, and [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is a family name.
This time around, we have [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] to use (both family names) which we thought would be amazing as an alliterative middle name, but makes first names a bit harder to match in.
I absolutely [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], but my husband isn’t 100% on it.
Other names I love (and my husband likes to varying degrees haha) are;
But as you can see, those names create a bit of a mouthful with [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] as a middle name!
I think we need something quite simple, maybe one or two syllables, that goes well with [name_f]Isla[/name_f] while still suiting the 2 middle names. We’re not too keen on overly used names but don’t want something toooo left of field either.
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] is my favorite of your choices!!! It goes wonderfully with [name_f]Isla[/name_f]. With the middle names you have chosen, I might want to avoid anything too noun or wordlike. Because the natural association is subtle, [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] might work.
Other ideas: [name_f]Thea[/name_f], [name_f]Cora[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], [name_f]Mara[/name_f], [name_f]Nina[/name_f], [name_f]Zara[/name_f], [name_f]Julia[/name_f], [name_f]Lara[/name_f], [name_f]Lena[/name_f], [name_f]Leah[/name_f], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f] or [name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
Thank you! Yes my husband is very fond of [name_f]Freya[/name_f], however I am not completely sold on it!
I agree re: anything too noun or wordlike due to the middle names. If I am honest, I am not 100% sold on the two middle names together either, though we would definitely keep [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] in as the second middle name.
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] on its own sounds like such a comic book character name, I love it! [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] and [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] are sweet but I understand that you’d like to use them together which I think could totally work.
Thanks! Yes I love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] on it’s own, however my husband will only agree to [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] if it’s a middle name, not a first!
[name_f]Dawn[/name_f] is definitely the family name we would keep out of the two if we had to lose one of them to make a first name work.
The reason I am saying this is because I’ve just stumbled across the name [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] and absolutely adore it!
I think [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] would work, though I think a few of the others would too!
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] is very pretty. My favourite of your list is [name_f]Thea[/name_f]. As soon as I saw [name_f]Isla[/name_f], I thought of [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Lara[/name_f], [name_u]Vida[/name_u] and [name_u]Malin[/name_u] .
With [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] as the middles, I would cross off the nature names on your list. [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] or [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] would be my pick. [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f] feel well-matched.
I think [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Honey[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is gorgeous!
I quite love [name_f]Meadow[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f]… hmmm… is [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] an option? [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] is adorable.
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] is beautiful as well, but my favorite from your list are [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] sounds wrong, though, and [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] is too wordy.
I second the previous suggestion of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] would make a lovely pair.
A unique suggestion that came to mind that I think also pairs well with [name_f]Isla[/name_f] is [name_f]Shasta[/name_f]. It is a type of daisy flower, so [name_f]Shasta[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] may sound a bit too cutesy, but it sprang to mind almost immediately.
It seems like you aren’t super commited to the honor names [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Dawn[/name_f], but I thought I would throw in [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]/[name_f]Margot[/name_f]/[name_f]Meg[/name_f]/[name_f]Maggie[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]/Sunrise as alternatives.
From your list I like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f]. I really like [name_f]Meadow[/name_f], but it was too nature-y and D heavy with the original middles, maybe [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and you still get your alliteration.
