Help! Due in 2 weeks and need to nail down a boy’s name. Older siblings are [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_u]Seth[/name_u] and [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]. Last name is 3 syllables starting with E and ending with S. I think we’d like to stick with the 2 syllables for first name, 1 for second name.
We’re set on [name_m]Thade[/name_m] as middle name.

I like some old fashioned names, don’t want too trendy, can’t be hard to spell/pronounce, and don’t want a name that can be shortened (ie [name_m]William[/name_m] - being called [name_m]Will[/name_m] instead… would rather just use [name_m]Will[/name_m] as given name then).
From this list I love [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] [name_m]Thade[/name_m] to go with [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]. My 2nd choice would be [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Thade[/name_m]. [name_m]Liam[/name_m] is cute but I agree, too popular. [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] isn’t my style.
From your list, I think [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Thade[/name_m] has the best sound, although I think [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] also goes very well with [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]. [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] doesn’t quite feel like it fits in your other children’s names as well.
I agree that [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Thade[/name_m] has the best sound (to my ears). With siblings [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] I could also see [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]. [name_m]Liam[/name_m] is popular but a great name! And [name_m]Liam[/name_m] [name_m]Thade[/name_m] sounds perfect. I think over the course of typing this I have changed my mind from an [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] vote to a [name_m]Liam[/name_m] vote. I see your dilemma!
If it means anything, [name_m]Liam[/name_m] [name_m]Thade[/name_m] is handsome, sounds great and “[name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m]” rolls off the tongue!
Congrats! [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] are my favorites alone, but I’m really loving [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] with [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]. I would vote [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Thade[/name_m] then [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Thade[/name_m].
[name_u]Micah[/name_u] [name_m]Thade[/name_m] would have been a name on our short list, but now have a nephew with that name.
Thanks for all the input! I think I’ll be happy with any of these three, [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_m]Liam[/name_m], or [name_m]Greyson[/name_m]. Or who knows, maybe something else will pop up in the next few weeks!
