Sibling name for Tallis Belle

[name_m]Hi[/name_m], we’re expecting a baby sibling for our daughter, [name_m]Tallis[/name_m], and are looking for either girl or boy names that go with hers - [name_m]Tallis[/name_m] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. We named her after [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Tallis[/name_m], the composer (whose pieces we had sung by a choral group at our wedding), and chose her name because we loved how it was really unique, had a personal connection to us, and also sounded quite feminine, like [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. It was really easy to decide on a first name, but finding it quite hard to find a second name that lives up to the uniqueness of the first! Ideally something quite unique and cool but at the same time, classic. Thanks!

Well, that’s definitely a hard task to live up to! Meaningful, artistic, familiar sound, and cool! Are there any other names you like? Any other style you’re fond of?

Here’s some other composers that could also be names:
[name_u]Shelby[/name_u]
[name_m]Heath[/name_m]
[name_m]Ward[/name_m]
[name_m]Bennet[/name_m]

Unusual names that sound like/could be shortened to familiar names:
[name_m]Alaric[/name_m]
[name_u]Corbin[/name_u]
Faroe
[name_m]Gable[/name_m]
Merrett
[name_u]Fenix[/name_u]

I think the meaning behind the name goes before everything else. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you and your husband share a favorite musician, poet, author?

It would be nice to choose another unique meaningful name to you and you and husband and, of course, we have no idea what is meaningful to you. I might stay away from composer names unless you are both musicians but maybe there is a place, author or thing that is equally meaningful to you.

Names I like with [name_m]Tallis[/name_m]:

[name_m]Tolliver[/name_m] - similar to [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] with the great nickname Tolly (but you may not want two t’s)
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] - familiar yet not common, pulls in the s from [name_m]Tallis[/name_m] withou being rhymy, [name_m]Oz[/name_m] as a nn
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] - strong yet nusical, draws in some of the same sounds as [name_m]Tallis[/name_m]

[name_f]Colleen[/name_f] - unusual these days, pulls in the double L of [name_m]Tallis[/name_m]
