Hello Berries :slight_smile: Expecting baby#3

  1. We’d prefer the boy’s first name to be Biblical and the girl’s name to have a nature aspect (first or middle)
  2. We TRY to have either the first or middle name start with and R or J as a family homage.
    3.We like nicknames.
  3. Last name sounds British in the vein of Merryweather or Peartree.

Personally I’m sorting liking [name]Arden[/name] [name]Jubilee[/name] if it’s a girl but there’s not really a nickname for [name]Arden[/name]. DH does not want to call her “Ardy” and I can’t blame him.

I’m really loving the Name [name]Arden[/name] right now so that one gets my vote as for nicknames you could call her [name]Ari[/name], [name]Denny[/name], [name]Enna[/name],Denna … I also think the middle name Roseplum is really sweet, though I’m not sure I’m sold on [name]Haddon[/name]

To be honest, [name]Haddon[/name] sounds a bit made up to me and also reads as a boy’s name.

I’ve always had a soft spot for [name]Quincy[/name] and [name]Darcy[/name] :slight_smile: But I agree, right now, if it’s a girl, [name]Arden[/name] is too pretty to pass. Not sure I’m sold on the [name]Arden[/name] nn tho :confused: I have the -enny ending in my name, so similar to [name]Denny[/name], Denna, [name]Enna[/name] and [name]Ari[/name] might work, but I"m not sure.

[name]Haddon[/name] comes from CH [name]Spurgeon[/name]. ([name]Charles[/name] [name]HADDON[/name] [name]Spurgeon[/name]). A theologian we really like. Though like I said, while I like it, I’m not 100%. I feel like she’d have to correct her name a lot. “No, not Heyden, not [name]Hadden[/name], HAD-[name]DON[/name].”

What name did you end up choosing?
I have 3 sons - all named after theologians/reformers. [name]Calvin[/name] ([name]John[/name] [name]Calvin[/name]), [name]Isaac[/name] ([name]Isaac[/name] Watts), and [name]Charles[/name] ([name]Charles[/name] [name]Spurgeon[/name]).

[name]Haven[/name]'t picked a boys name yet. Currently leaning towards [name]William[/name] [name]Haddon[/name] and abandoning the Bible name since nothing seems quite right to us, but that give us two kids with names starting with W. Still open to suggestions! If it’s a girl it will be [name]Arden[/name] Roseplum :slight_smile:
