I just had my first baby, [name_m]Roderick[/name_m]. As a name nerd I’m thinking of the next name lol Any ideas for a boy and girl that would go well? For a girl, one of the middle names will be [name_f]Sherrie[/name_f] after my mom. If there’s any from my list that you like let me know as well!
I’m actually leaning towards [name_f]Jubilee[/name_f] or [name_f]Edith[/name_f] if I have a girl.
[name_f]Jubilee[/name_f] would be really fun as a sister for [name_m]Roderick[/name_m]! Very unexpected, but a similar length and bounce to it.
[name_f]Edith[/name_f] fits too, for a more conventional sibset. Both [name_m]Roderick[/name_m] and [name_f]Edith[/name_f] feel like strong, weighty, slightly clunky-cool vintage picks, and both nicely underused.
There are two very different styles here, so here goes:
I once knew a [name_m]Roderick[/name_m] with sister [name_f]Alicia[/name_f]. [name_m]How[/name_m] about that? Or [name_f]Madge[/name_f], [name_f]Ethel[/name_f], Adelphine, [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_f]Lilian[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], Fortunette or [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]?
[name_m]Roderick[/name_m] and [name_f]Edith[/name_f] is adorable! I find [name_f]Jubilee[/name_f] a bit strange but I like that it has the same kind of rhythm as [name_m]Roderick[/name_m]
What about [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u], [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m], [name_m]Evander[/name_m], [name_m]Tennyson[/name_m], [name_m]Forrester[/name_m], [name_m]Thackeray[/name_m], [name_m]Phineas[/name_m], [name_m]Leander[/name_m], [name_u]Oberon[/name_u], [name_m]Everard[/name_m], [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m], [name_m]Alistair[/name_m] or [name_m]Stellan[/name_m] for a boy?
My husband loves [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] for a girl but I don’t like how common it is, and I also met the most obnoxious little girl recently named [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] so I have a bad association now. I know that sounds mean but she really was. And I love kids lol Wdyt? Also I found [name_f]Jubilee[/name_f] from an Victorian name list, so I’m trying to lean towards that. More eclectic Classic names if that makes sense.
