I’d couple one of these (or similar) with a classic name, in the style of [name]Anne[/name], something like [name]James[/name], [name]Henry[/name], [name]Harry[/name], [name]Matthew[/name]…maybe [name]Jonah[/name]…
Thanks! I couldn’t pin point why I didn’t love [name]Jonah[/name], but I think you’re right. It doesn’t fit.
I like [name]Archer[/name] nn [name]Archie[/name]. DH thinks it sounds a bit “uppity” (whatever that means). I like [name]Max[/name] too, but I’m afraid its a little popular. Anyone have good similar-but-different alternatives to [name]Max[/name]??
[name]Hi[/name], by the way I love the name [name]Poppy[/name] [name]Anne[/name].
I also like the names [name]Archie[/name] and [name]Jack[/name], as well as [name]Alfie[/name] (really popular in UK). I’m not crazy about the name [name]Jonah[/name] either, don’t dislike it… but not crazy about it.
With [name]Poppy[/name] [name]Anne[/name] and [name]Mabel[/name] [name]Blue[/name], I really love [name]Lyle[/name]! I think is sounds very handsome and it also keeps up with the “4-letters-ending-in-E” thing you seem to have going.
For hubby, what about [name]Lyle[/name] [name]Jonas[/name] LastName? Or if you don’t like [name]Lyle[/name], try [name]Linus[/name]. I think those would be right up your alley. Maybe [name]Linus[/name] [name]John[/name]?
I understand that you love [name]Mabel[/name] [name]Blue[/name] for a second daughter, but I don’t think [name]Mabel[/name] captures the spunky, fun, feminine flavor of [name]Poppy[/name] at all. I’d fear that [name]Mabel[/name] would always feel like the “ugly duckling” in comparison to the lovely [name]Poppy[/name] - this is just my opinion, though. I’d pair [name]Poppy[/name] with something equally as fun, such as [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Fiona[/name], [name]Matilda[/name], [name]Leda[/name], [name]Sadie[/name], [name]Regina[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], or [name]Genevieve[/name]. I honestly love the combination of [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Blue[/name]!
For a boy, I don’t think [name]Jonah[/name] is the right style to match [name]Poppy[/name], and [name]Jack[/name] seems to plain. I think, if you want a J name, you might like [name]Julian[/name], [name]Jasper[/name], [name]Jensen[/name], [name]Jagger[/name], or [name]Jameson[/name]. If not a J name, you may like [name]Alden[/name], [name]Barrett[/name], [name]Edsel[/name], [name]Ferris[/name], [name]Gus[/name] (or [name]Augustine[/name], [name]Augustus[/name]), [name]Herschel[/name], [name]Landon[/name], [name]Maxwell[/name], [name]Oscar[/name], [name]Percy[/name], [name]Russell[/name], [name]Sebastian[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], or [name]Wyatt[/name]…
