Our daughter is named [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] and we are expecting another girl. We are trying to decide between [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I wanted opinions on which name everyone thought goes better with [name_f]Madeline[/name_f].
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]! To me, [name_f]Rose[/name_f] feels so short and popular that it’s middle name only!
I like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] best with [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]—they give me a similar vibe (romantic, elegant, but sweet).
I prefer [name_f]Rose[/name_f], both on its own and with [name_f]Madeline[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]!
In general I prefer [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] would be more fitting as a sibling to [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] in my opinion
I’m thinking [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. It’s gentler with [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a better. To my ear, [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] have a similar classic, graceful, feminine vibe.
I think [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] has something very soft, summery and slightly romantic about it that lovely [name_f]Rose[/name_f] matches best.
They’re both quite timeless, you encounter their variations in any age group while [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] feels very current and on-trend (of course she has been used before but between then and now lie about 100 years).
I love [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]! But imo they would both be good fits, I like how gently vintage they would sound with their sister’s name.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] pair a little better in my estimation. They give me the same strong but feminine vibe.
Both are great names
But I think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] pairs best with [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]… both very sweet, gentle, feminine names
