Were planning to start ttc in the next couple of months and im already feeling anxious about choosing a name! We have a son named [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] - who we call [name_m]Nate[/name_m] as well for short! Id love to hear some names (boy and girl) that you think go well with [name_m]Nathan[/name_m]. Part of me says the next name cant end in an n? Also, im not sure how ai feel about a potential one syllable nn. Here are some ideas ive had but husband is picky!!!

I have always liked the name [name_m]Nate[/name_m] :slight_smile:

I like [name_m]Liam[/name_m], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_f]Maya[/name_f] also.

My partner and his siblings all have names ending in an/en (pronounced similarly) and reportedly his parents didn’t notice (there are a lot of these names in [name_f]Ireland[/name_f]). We actually gave our first two names ending in n though some differing in pronunciation, aside from the exclusively used nickname of the first, which is again like his dad and uncles/ aunt.

My top girl name is [name_f]Maya[/name_f] right now, however… my sister plans on having a second baby before me and has already said if its a girl she would use [name_f]Maya[/name_f] :frowning: SOOO if thats the case Ill move on to probably [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] or [name_u]Blair[/name_u]!
