My DS is due in about three weeks, and he is still nameless. The other day when my DH and I were discussing names, he said he liked the name [name]Bryce[/name], but I told him that it would sound terrible with our daughter’s name, [name]Reese[/name]. My DH insists that they sound fine together. Now, I have already removed [name]Bryce[/name] from consideration, but I just want some nameberry opinions on this topic…
What would you think of a sibset of [name]Reese[/name] and [name]Bryce[/name]? Am I right that they sound terrible or is DH right that they sound fine together?
DH also really likes the name [name]Wesley[/name] but again I am afraid it sounds too close to [name]Reese[/name] (especially if shortened to [name]Wes[/name])…although I definitely think it is better than [name]Bryce[/name].
I definitely do not like [name]Bryce[/name] with [name]Reese[/name]. Very strong s with [name]Wesley[/name] and [name]Reese[/name]. I don’t think it flows very well.
What about [name]Thomas[/name]? [name]Reese[/name] and [name]Thomas[/name]? Haha, just the first name that popped in my head.
[name]Reese[/name] and [name]Henry[/name]
[name]Reese[/name] and [name]Tanner[/name]
[name]Reese[/name] and [name]Elliot[/name]
[name]Reese[/name] and [name]Dean[/name]
[name]Reese[/name] and [name]Samuel[/name]
I like [name]Wesley[/name] better with [name]Reese[/name] than [name]Bryce[/name], too, but I think either one would be okay. They sound a little matchy-matchy, but that’s not always a bad thing, and I think they sound cute without taking it too far, like, say, [name]Reese[/name] and [name]Maurice[/name].
I think that [name]Reese[/name] and [name]Bryce[/name] sound fine together. My problem with it is that they are both gender neutral names. I’ve known boys named [name]Reese[/name] and girls named [name]Bryce[/name]. Looking at it in writing , I couldn’t tell which is the girl or which is the boy. I would think something more masculine would be better for the boys name. [name]Reese[/name] and [name]Brett[/name] , [name]Reese[/name] and [name]Ben[/name], [name]Reese[/name] and [name]Bryan[/name] etc.
[name]Reese[/name] and [name]Bryce[/name] are definitely similar – and I agree too similar – but I think they are better than a [name]Wesley[/name] nn [name]Wes[/name] with [name]Reese[/name]. [name]Wes[/name] and [name]Reese[/name] is awful.
I really don’t like either [name]Bryce[/name] or [name]Wesley[/name], but I love [name]Reese[/name]!
What about…
[name]Simon[/name] & [name]Reese[/name]
[name]Reese[/name] & [name]Eli[/name]
or if you want to continue with the gender neutral names, [name]Reese[/name] and [name]Avery[/name]?
I don’t like [name]Bryce[/name] with [name]Reese[/name]. I think they are too similar due to the ending and the fact they are both short names. I think [name]Bryson[/name] would be a better option if you like it. I agree with you that [name]Wesley[/name] and [name]Reese[/name] sound better together but [name]Wes[/name] as a nickname is a reason for concern. Here are some names that I think go well with [name]Reese[/name]…
