I think they’re beautiful and sophisticated. Maybe a tad dated (: but I hear old names are scheduled to make a comeback. Most people like [name]Genevieve[/name] but [name]Agatha[/name]… not so much. I would use the nicknames ‘[name]Evie[/name]’ and ‘[name]Hattie[/name]’ if I ever have two girls.
I think [name]Agatha[/name] is super cute, but nn [name]Aggie[/name] seems more fitting than [name]Hattie[/name], which I would normally associate with [name]Harriet[/name].
I love it!
I actually prefer [name]Agatha[/name] over [name]Genevieve[/name]. I don’t see how you got [name]Hattie[/name] from [name]Agatha[/name], I think [name]Aggie[/name] is more fitting.
I love [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Agatha[/name]! Two vintage, charming, coming-back-into-style girls’ names; both saints’ names. I think St. [name]Genevieve[/name] has a pretty impressive/cool story (she protected [name]Paris[/name] from invasion by the power of prayer), but St. [name]Agatha[/name]'s story is really sad. I don’t know if that would bother you or not. I’m not Catholic, but am a [name]Christian[/name], and while saints really have no bearing on my religious life, I would think that I would feel a bit cheated if I were [name]Agatha[/name] and my sister was [name]Genevieve[/name] (especially since [name]Genevieve[/name] is so much better received than [name]Agatha[/name], in general). [name]Evie[/name] and [name]Hattie[/name] are adorable, though. What about [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Harriet[/name]? I think those are just as well matched, and [name]Harriet[/name] seems to be received better than [name]Agatha[/name] (plus, [name]Hattie[/name] makes more sense for it, too).
Good luck!
