We have a little girl named [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and love the name [name_u]Indie[/name_u].
I appreciate these are 2 completely difference names but do you think they’re cute together?

I think they work well together! I like how the matching initial ties them together, but at the same time both are distinct names.
I think they work. Both feel current and as @EagleEyes says, the initials tie them together
I think they go together enough - Indie is more hip and arty but the “ie” makes it fit somehow.
I would be tempted to use, Indiana or even (and these match best:) Lucinda, Ingrid or Rosalind to give a heftier name like Isabelle.
They are so different.
We have an [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_u]Indie[/name_u] is so cute with [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]! They are definitely different but the I ties them together. Overly matchy sibling named are overrated.
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u] nn [name_u]Indie[/name_u] is also nice with [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
A more tradition mal name like [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f], [name_f]Winifred[/name_f], or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] (all with [name_u]Indie[/name_u] as a nickname) might stylistically tie [name_u]Indie[/name_u] in with [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], but I also quite like the idea of a stylistically mismatched set! They’re nice together, and I like that their first initials would match!
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] having a sister named [name_u]Indie[/name_u] would cause me to think “mismatched” right away to be honest, but if [name_u]Indie[/name_u] was a nickname for a more classic name it would work much better. @snowmaiden offered some good suggestions that I think would be nice alongside [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f].
I loveeee isabelle! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any other children and if so what are they called?
They’re mismatched, but who cares. They sound cute together. They won’t be living together forever. I say go with what you love.
I think they go nicely together!
Not currently any siblings but my favorite names for future babies at the moment are [name_u]Willow[/name_u] and [name_m]Ferris[/name_m]. [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_u]Indie[/name_u] and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] are also on my list.
I think it works! I agree that they’re a bit mismatched, but in this case I think it’s a cute kind of mismatch.
There’s also the possibility of [name_u]Indie[/name_u] as a middle name - it seems like you’d want to use it for a first name, and it works, but I’ll just throw this out there in case you ever start having doubts.
Sorry, but I really don’t see them going together. [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is such a classic, respectable, graceful name that works well on any age, but [name_u]Indie[/name_u] is kind of the opposite, and I would imagine the daughter with that name would be jealous of her sister’s name.
i agree that they’re mismatched, but i think they’re sweet, and the sounds fit well together. it’s far better to have names that are quite different than names that are too similar. also, if isabelle goes by izzie, i think they match perfectly!! i’d agree with others that a longer name with nickname indie (i’m especially fond of rosalind with isabelle) would be stylistically more consistent, but if you don’t love any longer names, i don’t think it’s a concern!
I don’t think they go together in all honesty. The issue I have with very stylistically mismatched names is how the children might feel about it. [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] could be jealous of Indie’s trendier, less common and more distinctive name. [name_u]Indie[/name_u] could envy Isabelle’s prettier, more classic option. Yes there are no guarantees any child will love their name but I feel like this issue is one quite easily mitigated.
