What is your opinion of [name_m]Hudson[/name_m] and [name_m]Houston[/name_m] as sibling names (both boys). Are they too similar?
They do feel too similar in my opinion especially as they are both place names as well that just emphasises the closeness in feel. However it does come down to personal preference I know some people love matchy matchy sibling sets I know brothers named Br0dy & C0dy for example so it’s how you feel really. I think Huxley or Austin would be better less matchy but similar vibe to Houston.
Unfortunately, they are too similar in my opinion.
A bit too close for me
[name_m]Welcome[/name_m] back!
They are a bit too close for me personally, but I think they’re technically usable together. [name_m]Just[/name_m] very matchy; I would get them mixed up!
[name_m]Hudson[/name_m] and [name_m]Houston[/name_m] do seem a bit similar too me since they’re both two syllables, start with an H, and end in son/ston.
too similar
Definitely very similar, but if it doesn’t bother you then go for it!
I personally think they are too similar and you may be constantly mixing them up.
I think it might be easier to use a name than ends in a different letter
[name_m]Hudson[/name_m] & [name_m]Hollis[/name_m]
[name_m]Houston[/name_m] & [name_m]Hardy[/name_m]
I prefer sib names to begin and end differently, since the beginning sound and ending sounds are both the same it would be too similar for me personally. Although every person has a different tolerance for similarities in sibsets
I agree, a little too close for me, sorry! I think [name_m]Hudson[/name_m] and [name_m]Holden[/name_m] is a little better? [name_m]Or[/name_m] [name_m]Houston[/name_m] and [name_m]Holden[/name_m]?
I love matching names or the alliteration of the H’s. I do think [name_m]Hudson[/name_m] and [name_m]Houston[/name_m] are very close because they end in the same similar sound and start with the same letters. It might be easier to have nicknames for them maybe if you like so it’s not as tongue twisty, but maybe another H sound that ends in a different sound like [name_m]Hudson[/name_m] and [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] or [name_m]Houston[/name_m] and [name_f]Hadley[/name_f]
