In need of an unusual old fashioned rare name for 3rd daughter.
Ideally 2 syllables please.
We have an Elsie and Sylvie already. So i’m not to sure whether we should follow suit with an “ie/y/E” sounding ending. What do you think?
Names we can’t have: bonnie, hattie, lottie.
We’re thinking of vera for the middle name (it’s my mums middle name)
Please help. We are so stuck on names this time round.
Margot [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Nell[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Zadie[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f] are all gorgeous with [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f].
Some find naming patterns charming. I prefer sibling names to be compatible but not overly coordinated. So for the third child, I would opt for a different ending unless it was the absolute favourite. Either way, I think you’ll choose a terrific name.
You would’ve heard most vintage names by now. I’m going to focus on ones that are on the very low end of popularity seeing as many old fashioned names are coming back in style. It’s also okay if you don’t seem to fall in love with anything straight away. In my experience, it often takes time for a new love to grow on me.
hey [name_f]El[/name_f] and Silv like me and my sister!
I don’t think you need to have the ie/y/e ending unless you love the name!
