First off we aren’t ttc yet but I love dreaming of future babies lol.
My daughter is named [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] and if we were to have a son next his name would probably be [name_m]Felix[/name_m] or [name_m]Foster[/name_m]. DH’s family has passed down their initials to the boys so I thought it would be cute to do the same. The first names start with F and the middle with J. I haven’t found any other boy names that I like more than [name_m]Felix[/name_m] or [name_m]Foster[/name_m].
If we don’t ever have a boy I had it planned to name a girl [name_f]Flora[/name_f] but the name has really grown on me and now I am in love with that name. I think it sounds perfect with [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]. I’m kinda sad if I have a boy then I wouldn’t be able to use [name_f]Flora[/name_f] because I don’t really like sibling names that start with the same letter lol. I sound nit picky but if it comes down to it I could potentially still use it.
What other names go with [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]? I’m not into super popular names so I’ve had to cut some good ones. Our last name is [name_u]Lee[/name_u]!
Other names we like:
[name_f]Junia[/name_f] - DH is still unsure but I think this one has grown on me. [name_u]June[/name_u] and [name_f]Junie[/name_f] are cute nicknames
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] - too popular
[name_f]Esme[/name_f] - unsure. Would people get confused with how to pronounce it? I like Ez-[name_f]May[/name_f] pronunciation
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Nina[/name_f]
Thanks in advance! Everyone on here is so helpful! You guys give the best advice!
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] would be amazing together! I adore both names.
My favourites for you from your list as it stands are [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_f]Vera[/name_f] and [name_f]Nina[/name_f]. All three share the sweet, simple, sleek vintage appeal of [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and feel similarly international. [name_f]Junia[/name_f] is a bit more unheard-of but also very lovely and would sound great with your surname!
And I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and agree that it would be perfect with your daughter’s name. I would seriously consider using it regardless of your initials hang-up — you never know what the future holds and it sounds like this would be The One for you if you weren’t hesitating over potential future siblings potentially sharing an initial.
